50 Prism
10 Ascendant Alloys
POOFED TO BLUE JUNK
total BS
The only way to show my frustration with that is here, and to take away any future exchange of silver ......
For quite some time
Why do they have a po box warning that comes 4 blocks too late ? ( hint hint )
Why cant the PO BOX system prioritize yellow and purple over light blue junk ? ( hint hint )
Why does so much blue garbage drop in Grandmasters to start with? ( hint hint )
Why cant they initiate the simple idea of a virtual lock button ( option for each space ) for the post office ? ( hint hint ) or eliminate light blues from a grandmaster all together ?
Last time I dedicate myself to helping different guardians through Grandmasters all night

Postmaster isn't storage (hint hint) Don't keep items you want to keep in there (hint hint) Your own fault if you lose them (hint hint)

So just pick up blues that drop and delete them. Easy as that.

1 ReplyNon-specific comment to GMs, but I like the way weapon perks when they’re sitting with the Postmaster sometimes change. I’ve seen it multiple times where I’ve had a banger of a roll and had no space in my inventory while doing another activity, and then I go to retrieve it and the rolls have changed. Anyone else had that?

Destiny has always been a looter-shooter with economy issues, RNG issues, and strange resource limitations. Regularly cleaning your inventory is an unfortunate necessity. Everyone has had the postmaster loose items. Past updates to these core issues fix one and break two more.

Edited by FuzzyWolf: 11/20/2022 11:08:12 PMAuto dismantle on blues would help so much here as I know I've lost a whole stack of prisms to this before and I understand the pain

I'm a firm believer in good inventory management, but I also like to keep stores of golf balls and prisms in my postmaster. I totally support a system where the postmaster prioritizes exotic tier gear over blues. I also think Bungie should just increase the inventory limit on these things already. A limit of 10 and 50 really isn't keeping anybody from holding more. We just risk losing them if we aren't careful.

2 RepliesIt's not hard to keep an eye on dim to see when the posty is filling up. Your own fault.

1 ReplyI honestly find fascinating how one can run around collecting every single item on the map, yet find him/herself with 5 blues, 2 engrams and other junks sent at the postmaster for every single run.

This game is designed to -blam!- all over your time you've invested just to try and get you to invest more of your valuable time. It's scummy beyond belief.
-
You are aware of this by this point but alot of people replying are gonna give the old "postmaster isn't storage" generic argument but it is an issue when there is no storage system for items in this game (om not talking about weapons/armor before you trolltatoes start griping). There really needs to be or just let people store ascendant shards and such in the vault. Every stack of 10 takes a vault space. Problem solved.

Edited by ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ: 11/19/2022 1:57:59 AMNo one is saying anything…but it’s getting worse all the time. The delays in orbit before returning to earth, the late Post Box announcements, events are dropping more useless loot than ever, etc.
-
You knew how the system worked when you decided to exploit it. Nobody to blame but yourself.

Edited by The-IIID-Emp1r3: 11/19/2022 7:31:29 AMSounds like mismanagement issue. Postman ain't a vault

I feel that. Didn’t happen to me but I just learned from the twab I lost access es to unbroken (I was one season away). Definitely won’t be spending any money on silver (not that I already do)
