164 RepliesEdited by Spawn: 9/21/2022 10:11:41 PMUpdated : Bungie has updated the requirements to be auto-completed. Enjoy!
Due to the completion requirement being too high for many players, we have auto-completed the Champions Defeated objective for this week’s Sails of the Shipstealer Seasonal quest.
https://twitter.com/BungieHelp/status/1572708194090373122?s=20&t=U1yomlhqHfipSUI_LAaghg

2 Replieshere we go again, the bad players machine hit again

4 RepliesReally 50 champs too much? Vox Obscura master pinnicle= 3 champs 6% each so 18% per run so 6 runs per pinnacle so 6x3 = 18 champs per character pinnicle x 3 characters your done. So why whine and complain? You want an easier game play Hello Kitty :Are You My Daddy? We don’t need milk.

2 RepliesI did 2 nightfalls and had 24. I guess people cry/complain about anything
-
If you think 50 champions are alot, then that says alot about the content you play
-
i hope your happy now
-
50 champions, really?
It didnt need to be done in ketchcrash. I did it in hero nightfalls
-
It was completed before I even had a play. Ermmm-thanks???
-
59 champions too much u? Try that 250 on expedition
-
Anyone remember 10 ROCKET LAUNCHER kills for Iron Banner Quest step???
-
yeah, no it's not. Took me less than an hour of casual, not even paying attention game play
-
2 RepliesIt takes 1 master ketchcrash. I'm a solo player mostly too, I did lfg, ran over single master ketchcrash and it was done
-
i got it last night, one champ is 3 pts in a normal Ketchcrash. LFG a Master, one champ is worth 12, so by the second room I got it. It's very misleading.
-
It’s no-life or nothing.
-
1 champion is too many in the game
-
Just do master ketch crash, you complete the whole objective in 1 run lol

2 RepliesIt's simple really, don't put steps that require non matchmade content in story quests. The fact they've done it just shows how little they understand the playerbase.
-
For a seasonal quest step, 50 is absolutely too many. For a weekly season quest that isn't tied to progressing the main questline, it's a good amount. Yes, master activities are the most efficient way to finish this. But anyone who has the time for the pinnacle/xp grind required to adequately participate in master activities will not have an issue with this quest step. Personally, I am done with the pinnacle grind. I have been doing it every season until now. It's monotonous and no longer interesting. The rng on pinnacle drops is still horrible. I no longer want to spend 2+ hours a day, every week, grinding for a light level that will be reset in a few months. Just so I can do it all again in the same activities. I also don't appreciate losing access to activities at the beginning of every season, due to having my LL reset. It just rubs me the wrong way.

Lotsa players complain about RNG, and rightly so. However, I strongly suspect that Bungie does not actually write the game. RNG writes it. Take the 50 champions. Surely this was RNG. No developer with any sense of the game would manually enter 50 Champions, and no peers think tank would approve it. It was a generated number. I'm pretty sure this happens a lot.
-
Agreed, that is a bunch. If it wasn’t for Master Katchcrash I’d probably still be working on that.
-
50 champions, really?
It really isn't but go crazy you got what you wanted. Being spoon fed.
-
50 Champions is too easy, next time we need a 50,000 Champion requirement but make it the only way to progress in Lightfall! Haahahahahahahaahahahhahaha!!!!

17 RepliesForcing players into more difficult activities isn't the way to go. Some of us just want to play normally and don't care about master or endgame content.
-
10 RepliesPersonally, I'm glad I saw this thread before doing the story stuff this week, as I doubt I would've realized I could do it with one master ketch. As someone who uses lfg regularly, and who is at pinnacle cap, it was easy. However, not everyone is at pinnacle cap or uses lfg, both of which I would consider to be for endgame. The story quest should not require endgame tools, as I would consider story to be pretty close to entry-level content. Without the endgame tools, this step is just poorly balanced - 50 is WAY too many. A simple weekly story quest step shouldn't require an hour or more of grinding.

7 RepliesLol no wonder this game gets worse every update
