A job is generally something performed with the [b]expectation[/b] of being extrinsically rewarded, often with a considerable time investment; I paint a house, the owner pays me money. But one can do things without the expectation of being directly rewarded: read a book, paint a picture on one’s day off, volunteer one’s time at a non-profit, play a video game (wait a second…). People routinely do things for purely [i]intrinsic motivations[/i]. The fact that you’re comparing playing through a Raid in a video game to working a job suggests you and OP have quite different expectations as to being rewarded for what you each do in (what I will assume is) your free time.
