People are exploiting the GG nightfall score
There’s currently an exploit involving one of the medals and allows you to farm lightbearer hive over and over to reach insane scores as high of 700k. It gives you around ~5k points each kills.
Bungie please fix this or atleast check the scoring system before you release.

1 ReplyI got 217,000 in my first run and I thought that was a pretty solid score. Then I saw that it's only a top 40%, so it made me think that a lot of people are finding ways to artificially increase their score. We basically killed everything in our legitimate run.

2 RepliesEdited by ZeroEmerald: 5/7/2022 2:41:28 AMYup and there's also people blowing themselves up right at the start, taking it in turns with their 2 team mates, until they've used all their ammo up. 200k+ after like 5 minutes. The competitive scoring is now an utter joke, you won't get the special emblem unless you cheese your way to 750k. They should've just put a threshold, like if you get 250k or whatever each week, you get it. I'm sure Bungie will say something, probably Monday at the earliest now, if they notice this over the weekend. If they don't, then they are basically saying it's OK and all in the spirit of good sportsmanship. Eff the emblem if that's the case, there's no prestige in cheesing it.

Not an exploit. Bungie being inept and picking an activity with Lucent Hive is the problem.

if it is a reward, there's no need to fix. If you are going to cry about it, instead of whining, why not just do it yourself if you care that much about some emblem? If they remove what amounts to a loophole at best, which is probably what Bungie intended in the first place, then they'd have to eliminate all the one's we use for GM's, or NF's.

You can also suicide for a while to get guardian angel medals. Very easy 280k score. I encourage everyone to do it
