Stompees Nerf Highlights How Toxic Players Are
Pretty much the title.
The recent announcement of the upcoming Stompees nerf has caused some pretty awful “discussion” in the forums and such. Why do we have to resort to saying dumb stuff just because we disagree?
Player 1: Says the Stompees change isn’t fair
Player 2: “Cry harder. Just mad that you’re a trashcan and can’t crutch anymore.”
Player 2: Praises the Stompees change
Player 1: “Lol, skill issue. They weren’t broken, you are just trash.”
If you want to have an actual thoughtful discussion, go for it. But let’s all be friends here.

Welcome to destiny you must be new here. Anywho I believe it's karmic retribution honesty. Every time warlock or titan too a nerf on the chin and it was brought up in the forums. Know what happened? Hunters came to post gitgud -blam!- posts. Now tables have turned, shoes on the other foot, whatever saying you'd like to use. Seriously though it's mostly kiddos and ragers taking the personal jabs at people. People should know by now to stop caring. Bungie couldn't balance a yard stick. Next season there will be something new that's not as shitty as everything else for people to use.

anybody who has actually played for the entirety of destiny just rolls with the punches of the nerfs and buffs and laughs at the people who get all pissed ab it.

Honestly the matchmaking is more of an issue, only thing I think is in need of tuning is fusion rifles

I honestly don't care who uses what loadout or exotic, its a game ffs, there are always gonna waaaaayyy be better pvp players than me and I am always gonna land a lucky kill on them or two. Are invis hunters annoying ? Yes. Am I gonna cry about it ? No. But they can jump real high with fancy boots ? Shoot for the sky. No I am in no way affiliated with bungo and yes some of the ballance changes hurt real bad, but they happen and you should be grateful about it since most even remotely similar games dont give a flying fork about actually monitoring the "meta" overuse or even abuse of some of the stuff in their games. The dynamic changes will force everyone to adapt to new playstyles a by that getting better at the game itself. That said, if your toxic over loosing in game and blame everyone, anything and everything except yourself, maybe you should get a new hobby or consult some adults about your issues. Life is hard, but this is a game. You are supossed to enjoy it.

16 RepliesThe nerf was warranted. All the spammy hunters on controller finally have to get good and learn how to actually win a gunfight. It's like bro you shoot a hunter and he immediately spams dodge and jumps. 😂 These kids would get destroyed in a game like cod or battlefield.

The only thing it shows is how bad and biased all you forum dwellers are 😂 They jump and slide the same and can now spec for in air accuracy. Any one thinking this is a nerf is showing their lack of skill and understanding in PvP 🤷♂️

Everyone has their own play style some prefer stompees others prefer one eye mask. Destiny is pve/ pvp game if you tired of one go to the other or play different game.

3 RepliesStompee mains getting airborne kills are good players they will continue to dominate in crucible without stompees because they’re good players. This will only push more cheesy armors to the front a little more which will annoy the people that die a lot in crucible even more. Imagine getting killed in air with stompees vs having your radar taken away and getting fusioned by an Invis hunter? Which is more annoying? For me certainly not getting killed in the air. There will be other S tier armors that will get used more. Dragons shadow, wormhusk, grasps. I look back at the last year of playing in crucible and very rarely almost never have I got upset because I died from a hunter headshotting me in the air. I do get annoyed from having my radar removed or having someone wall hack with Lorentz or arbelist with kepersting. I just don’t understand or even knew there was a complaint about airborne gameplay.

32 RepliesThe Destiny community is unfortunately one of the most vile and toxic in the gaming world. It’s just rife with child minded idiots who grew up on halo, transitioned to Destiny cause with was a Bungie game and retained their toxic competitive mindset they had with Halo. It’s honestly the big black mark on Destiny. But there is also a great side of the community. You just have to dig for it.

Not wrong, imo. That said, i never really managed to get the hang of using stompees like that. ...preferred to literally set traps using Wish Ender and young ahamkara's spine on 6 shot golden gun.

But I enjoy watching PvP players go at each other. It's actually quite entertaining that they think playing a video game makes them some kind of special 😂🤦♂️

In a black and white view I agree to this. The whole point was became they are ADDING an airborne stat. So a piece of gear that enhances your movement and speed IN air, by rights it shouldn’t get increase aim assist to weapons. Because then not only do you move faster, jump higher, and corner better around edges… people think you should also get increased aim assist when doing that? Come on now. If you move faster you aim should be less accurate. That’s why at least I think when adding an airborne stat this particular change is in the technical right.
