Legend modes should have matchmaking!
I am so sick of you guys locking people out of Legend activities unless they have a fire team.
The activities aren't even hard. All they have added to them is 2-3 modifiers and champions.
I swear, you guys discriminate against solo players so much it's sickening.
What do you guys have against solo players being able to matchmake into Legend activities?

1 ReplyEveryone who calls this a multiplayer game is drinking the Bungie Kool-aid. DESTINY 2 IS A RPG open world Game, with Multiplayer elements. All Avenues of gameplay should be accessible to EVERYONE.

The only people I've seen asking for more in-game matchmaking are people with limited to zero experience in higher difficulty content. In the time it took you to write your post, you could have made an even shorter post in the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/ClanV2/FireteamSearch?activityType=0&platform=0]Find Fireteam[/url] section looking for more to do any Legend activity you want.

To have fun as a solo player in this game you have to learn to let stuff go. You’re not going to be able to play every activity and get every gun. Once you come to terms with that it’s much more enjoyable.

Solo players have no issues posting and engaging with others on the forums but the second you tell them to post and engage with an LFG it's, "oooh I'm a hermit with extreme anxiety and I've never socialized with another person before, this is all so complicated to me wahhh" GTFOH. These posts are sooooo old. 🥱🥱🥱

Through lfg I can limit and ask people to use mods or kick ITS SIMPLE MATH REALLY, IF YOU HAVE THE APP, LFG HAS THE GOODS Now having firewall “optional” matchmaking is a different story

3 RepliesIn the time you posted this you could’ve made a lfg post gotten a team and have it done Putting matchmaking on this is gonna lead to more problems then it’s worth if I get into a match with players thst have no mods bad load outs and has no idea and we get stuck on the first big area for longer then it needs to be I leave on normal or hero that’s fine their more geared to not be as psinful but legend and master I’d rather lfg for folks thst know what their doing and not let luck give me two dumb blueberries that run in and die over and over

2 RepliesAnything with recommended power under the pinnacle cap should have at least optional matchmaking. Pretty much anything but Raids and GMs. If there’s a triumph for completing something solo then there’s no reason it shouldn’t have matchmaking. If something is realistically doable solo then matchmaking should b an opinion. I’m convinced at this point Bungie just can’t figure out how to make it optional

Dude, it took Bungie's stubborn... Until D2 just to get MM for nightfall. Almost all the activities in this game should already have MM.

the amount of stupidity in the replies confirms my suspision about some D2 players again and again. If you are one of those who does not know you can still LFG for matchmade activities and gives example of how they dont wanna match with blueberries, you just did learn it and pay your respects below in the language of trolls :)

Lets make it unlockable. Anybody that has soloed a certain number of lost sectors or runs of them should be elligible for matchmaking.. they should know which mods to use.

I already knew it was not gonna have matchmaking, I can singlehandedly make it halfway but it gets so crowded at times that I cant stay alive. Honestly this mode really isn’t all that difficult, matchmaking would work wonders.

7 RepliesI agree. These activities are not raids or dungeons with some weird mechanics involved. It's pretty straightforward stuff. Just have the right mods on and off you go and destroy things, no other extra effort is needed. If they can turn on matchmaking for the Hero level for Nightfall strikes which have Champions of all kinds, then they could for the Legendary level group activities. Now with things that are more complex, yeah, maybe LFG is the only way to stop it from becoming a total fubar. With Legendary level matchmaking turned on people could try that route first, which I suspect will satisfy many people but if they don't then there's nothing stopping them from turning to LFG. I use LFG occasionally so I know it works, but it doesn't need to be the only path.

1 ReplyEveryone saying LFG are either r e t a r d e d or don't use it. Used it for trials lf actual decent players and got people throwing intentionally wiping my cards so I ended up just getting my flawless cards solo. Had someone in a raid do the same thing ruining the experience for the rest. Games that have good raids (literally every real MMO have matchmaking even in savage, ex, etc and it works fine. Sure you get duds but you get duds on the lower diff as well.

10 RepliesI completely agree. But the problem is you would get players who would not bring any mods and just expect to be carried. I would say to fix this, do what the final mission of Shadowkeep did and make it so that to even MM for the activity you have to have at least 1 of the corresponding champion mods equipped with the corresponding weapon. And if in the middle of the activity you change your weapon from that champion modded weapon you get kicked, having to start it over again
