Crow won’t be Hunter Vanguard because he doesn’t want to be identified with what Uldren did, meaning he doesn’t want to be considered responsible for Cayde’s death
It would contradict him saying this in the Hawkmoon quest if he was made the Vanguard
But other than that, I like your ideas

Edited by ChronoRabbitN7: 2/27/2022 5:13:07 PMHe won't be, blame will shift to Savathûn instead. He crash landed on Mars right? Have you looked at the Martian Missive lore book?
-
You mean the lore book that specifically states by the end that any or all of the entries could be fake messages generated by Savathûn?
-
Mhm, which also says that there could be a hidden message if looked at closely?
-
Which has yet to be solved to my knowledge and as such is irrelevant to this discussion. What point were you even making in this context using that lore book?

Edited by Shockwave 989: 3/1/2022 8:16:08 AMSeems less like Cayde coming back and more so a comment about the vacuum his death left that has yet to be filled, aka the Hunter Vanguard position. Even with the solution being as broken as it is, whether it be intentional or due to error in finding the solution. It also doesn’t support this random theory regarding our Guardian being sent back in time to be revived.

Edited by ChronoRabbitN7: 3/1/2022 6:02:53 PMNot sent back in time, we're both at both times. We have no origin point which is why we can be any race/gender. We are unaccounted for. Our Destiny lies in this cruel fate. and Osiris was Savathûn for far longer than she claimed. Osiris is dead, because he never existed or at the very least, for long as we've known him.

Edited by ChronoRabbitN7: 3/1/2022 7:09:24 PMTell me something. If a Guardian with a Ghost (alive) died permanently, but at the same time that "Guardian" arrived from a different timeline without their Ghost (dead). What would happen?
-
I fail to see how we are supposed to even guess at such a ridiculous question. Or how the answer to such a question would prove anything about your spinfoil. Especially when, if I recall your previous comments, the basis of this particular spinfoil is Truth to Power, a book written to deceive, mislead and confuse.

Because Elsie and Savathûn have something in common.

This web of mad spinfoil becomes more convoluted with every elaboration.
