Armor flashing (as if new) after Witch Queen update
Since WQ update all the armor flashes as if you just got it for the first time. And it won't stop. Opened every armor and mods and it still flashes. Its very annoying. Can't seem to find others with this problem on Bungie forum, though there's several people with this problem on reddit.

It was all my titan marks right after the update that kept flashing. Now, it's just my chest armor doing it.

The only thing I have flashing is my Hunter's vests, and only the legendary armor, even the vests in the post box flash. Exotics, new or old act as normal.

Still happening. Even since they “fixed” it in the recent update/hotfix. Can we please have this sorted. Driving me crazy

Edited by Skittar: 3/23/2022 12:22:48 AMHave tried equipping items, going over mods, ornaments, etc. and nothing works (most of my gear doesn't have anything equipped, anyway). Only seems to be on legendary items, regardless if new, old, equipped or stored. (PC)

I just want to link my page here as well. I've been having this problem since WQ release as well. Only with Legendary and Exotic armor pieces (New & Old). Removed all ornaments/shaders/mods Hovered over all ornaments/shaders/mods Placed pieces in vault and brought them back Marked all contents in collections as "seen" They are still flashing. Same here, all armor is flashing like it’s new or I just acquired it. Very annoying, playing on Series S or X or PC doesn’t matter still flashing. PLEASE fix this it’s making my OCD go crazy!!!

This is also happening to me, only legendary and exotic on all of my armor pieces, except for lion rampant. Very frustrating. Steam PC Windows 10

I am having the same problem on PS5 after the Witch Queen launch. All of my weapons, armor, ghost shells, vehicles and ships on the character screen and in my vault are flashing like they are new. The only exceptions are my exotic weapons, clan banner and emblems. It is the same issue for all three characters. Bungie, please fix this bug as soon as possible.

Been happening to me since WQ launched. For me, it's all non-exotic weapons, all armor, all ghosts, all sparrows, and all ships, regardless of if they're on a character or in the vault. Driving me nuts. In addition: -If I open the character screen, and look at any slot, the flashing items on expanded (cursor hover) items vs non expanded changes. For example, my equipped pulse rifle (legendary Time Worn Spire) is flashing. I have 8/9 additional items in that inventory slot, and the final slot is flashing as if it's a new weapon. If I hover to expand and look at everything in my inventory for that spot, now ALL legendary weapons in that slot are flashing in the expanded view. If I move away, it goes back to just the last gun in there, plus the one equipped. -ALL of my legendary weapons that are flashing are telling me there's a new ornament. Legendary gear doesn't normally have ornaments, and I'm unable to open any additional ornamental things to stop the flashing. -I've tried equipping, unequipping, putting in the vault, taking from the vault... None of it matters. Still flashes for ALL legendary weapons in expanded, equipped, and vault views. -Armor: similar to above. Every piece of equipped armor plus the last piece in condensed view is flashing; ALL armor flashes in expanded view, regardless of exotic, legendary, or rare status. ALL armor in vault view is flashing. -Ghosts: only equipped flashes in consolidated view, ALL flash in expanded and vault views. I only carry exotic ghosts, so I don't know about any others. -Artifact: flashes in consolidated view. Nothing flashes in expanded view or when inspecting the item. -Sparrows and ships: same as ghosts. I play on XSX, but I logged in from my PS5, and it's the same thing.

So for me it was legendary legs on titan ps4, looked in vault iron banner legs inspected legs looked at ornaments, finally stopped blinking.

I’ve made sure to: - check all mods for each affinity on the legs. - burned an upgrade module to switch affinities - increased the energy on a set of legs And ALL the legs are flashing for the hunter, even in the vault when I’m logged in as my titan & warlock I’m on Xbox one if that helps. I’ve tried closing and opening the game as well, nothing makes them stop flashing.
