The Shield Brothers strike in D1. By destroying the core of the Dreadnaught the explosion created can wipe out nearly entire systems. Sloppy, inefficient, and crude. But effective.

No... That's not exactly how it works, his throne world would've been fine
-
I mean the dreadnought is his throne world… It’s kind of a Kill Oryx first thing, If the explosion kills him too, you’re good. Throne World lore is weird, and Oryx has the weirdest one

The heck you talking about nerd? I’m here to pop sculls

1 ReplyOnly the gateway would be affected. Oryx's throne world manifesting throughout the Dreadnought was a bit different than other no portable throne worlds I mean it was built from a dead worm gods body and insides.

<Honestly given how big the Dreadnaught seems to be, I fail to see how destroying the physical portion of the Dreadnaught alone would wipe out half the system. The explosives themselves didn't even look high-yield, and we used similar bombs in D2 proving that they were just destructive enough to vaporize a Goliath Tank. Either the Dreadnaught's core had enough power to exaggerate an explosion to such a degree or it would actually tear down the Throne World within/without and the Ascendant energies in that explosion would've been enough to exaggerate the detonation.>

The Cabal didn't prove anything because the bombs never even went off. We have no idea what the effects would've been to Oryx's throne world.

No one said it would do anything to the throne world though. It would blow up the entire sol system sure. But the throne world is not in our sol system....its in an alternate reality...like the ascendant plane.

4 RepliesThere’s nothing to suggest what the resulting explosion and destruction of the Dreadnought would do to Oryx’s Throne World though. The two are intertwined but also still separate. There’s every chance it would’ve simply collapsed back into the Ascendant or maybe even just bled into the surrounding space instead.
