Battlegrounds will be combined with strikes?
Don't do this, don't force me to play content I don't wanna play.
I suppose that's one way to increase player count in a dead activity.
Edit: hopefully they will put battlegrounds and strikes on separate nodes.

Playlists are a way to mask bad strikes. We’re forced to play content we don’t like so that it isn’t obvious to the managers that time and money was wasted. What players like or dislike isn’t even considered.

Probably not, and if they don't, I'll just leave the BG and requeue hoping for a strike. Not like I really want to do that either, they should just change the entire pinnacle system to some kind of achievement token based on challenges completed over the weeks/season. The core playlist is terrible.

2 RepliesRawr! NO OBJECTIVE! ONLY KILL! Ffs Destiny players are entitled. I did my first BG recently as I never touched Chosen content til now. Seemed pretty strike-ey to me. Didn't seem like much extra work to me.

Bungie either has to make new strikes (too difficult) or add Battlegrounds (relatively easy). Why are you surprised?

It's a great idea actually. I always felt like the design was better than a regular strike, and probably ran hundreds even after I got the pinnacle.

Battlegrounds just feel like beefier strikes to me. The champions in the activity can be destroyed without mods. If you need/want to grind strike bounties after your pinnacle Battlegrounds is great. That said, you don't like it, you don't like it and that's that.

I do hope they turn down or redo the difficulty rng to a level that doesn't cause things to look kind of off. Sometimes they feel like they're being run by the presage boss. But I'm glad they will be staying as kind of a memento of what took place this year.

1 Replybattlegrounds are easy money to waste noobs time on, as all of them take place on open world areas currently in game, and dont need any extra space, just put some random -blam!- enemies everywhere and done. instead of making new strikes, they put us up with this bull, ppl loove it >?! because there is nothing else to play anymore, as you remove it all
