Whatever you want it to be. There is no “point” to playing a game except to have fun. The point is to play activities you enjoy. Solo, you’ll not be able to do endgame PvE except via LFG. You can solo some content if you’re very good and extremely dedicated. Most of PvP is soloable, if that’s your thing. I’ve played solo exclusively since D1, and the overriding lesson is this: you have to be okay with not getting or doing everything. Edit: tpyo

 • Funny, but sad how many people treat it that way.

 • This. The great thing about the current content, is that past seasonal arcs can be done even if you take a break. Grinding to be the highest level you can be is for clans mainly, just set yourself a goal like the 1320 cap or 1330 and just enjoy it. In the D1 days. I used to be the guy who wanted every achievement (bought the T shirt so to speak) but now I just play until i get bored, then move on and come back refreshed at a later date.

 • I’ve played exclusively solo in every MMO since MMOs were a thing. It’s fine as long as you have the right attitude. The second you start wanting that raid gear or whatever, though, you’ll suck the fun right out of it. Heck, I’m a hardcore Scout guy, and I’m not bothering with Dead Man’s Tale because I don’t want the hassle.

 • I had fun soloing presage! In my case, I didn't go after the catalyst.

 • What's the problem with DMT solo? I did it solo but LFG'ed for Master version.

 •
What's the problem with DMT solo? I did it solo but LFG'ed for Master version.
I don’t like the stupid maze in the middle, and I have no desire to do the boss fight. With a little work, I could solo it fine, but it wouldn’t be fun.

 • Luckily I had friends for Dead Man's Tale. I ran the presage mission so many times. I only did it solo on normal once and died.....a lot.... lol. But when I did complete it I had an awesome feeling of accomplishment. I just hope I can solo the new dungeon in December to get the armor and Ghorn. But thanks again for the reply. You're are totally right though. I need to get in the right mind set so I am having fun. Have an awesome day/night.

 • I will say I have solo most of the time when none of my friends are on. I believe I solo most games 80% of the time even with some end game. I just play to have fun that's all I can say, and I've seen players hate that cause it seems to ruin their enjoyment when your having fun, and doing so well with it.

 • I mostly play solo, and run Harbinger and Presage solo almost every week. On normal, it isnt so difficult if you learn the strategy for dealing with the encounters. I feel that it is almost easier solo, since you control the AI better with its aggro. I also try to run every ordeal on Legend, then Master solo through the season depending on my power level. Once I do them, and learn all the spawn sequences, when GM ordeals come out, I feel more comfortable trying to do LFG runs since I have systems figured out to complete consistently. They may not be the most ideal for speed runs, but they will get through.
