Please just stop

Please stop stuffing catalyst quests/objectives with PVP kill requirements. If you can't do that because of some unholy business model reason, please: Make it takedowns while weapon is equipped. Not last hits with the weapon in question. Any takedown, any means, with the weapon equipped. I get that you want to shuttle people into the PVP hamster wheel. It is the least expensive hamster wheel to maintain. You can, and have, totally ignored it for consecutive development cycles and people still play it. That community needs a regular influx of victims (and let's be real: since you killed SBMM, onboarding means victims for the sweats). That doesn't mean you have to further hobble them with off-meta weapons clearly designed for PVE (every season pass weapon since Witherhorde), especially when TTK's are getting shorter every season. The gap between a meta loadout and grinding a catalyst is horrific. I'd rather chew off my thumbs and play Dark Souls with the gnawed stumps than make another attempt at completing my PVP catalyst objectives, and you have given us no alternative means of completing them. Catalysts widen the asymmetry in PVP to pointless degrees. Every player I'm against is using every means in their kit to kill me. I am using my catalyst weapon ONLY because no other kills count. My team is also using every murder tool at their disposal to kill the same targets I am. Guess who's more likely to get the last tick of damage? You have the ttk sheets. You know the last hit stats. You tell me: What is the probability, all variables even, that the last tick of damage on a given player is from Ticuu's? Asking us to play the lottery is one thing. Asking us to grind up a collection of 50 winning tickets is another entirely.
