Will you brainless -blam!- WADS STOP FORCING PLAYERS INTO PVP FOR THE SEASONAL CATLEST FOR -blam!- SAKES NOT ALL YOUR PLAYERS ARE IN THIS GAME FOR PVP!!!!!!!
-
goes both ways i dont like doing that pve stuff im force to do.
-
2 RepliesAHHH I CANT GET 13 KILLS AHHH
-
Somehow u forget that bungie needs to lick pvp players. Everything is balanced to pvp players wishes... So expect more pvp fforced activities anyway, since bungie is unable to give 2 options on catalyst
-
3 RepliesI do everything I can possibly do to avoid PvP at all costs in this game. It's filled with cheaters and stacks and sweaty no-lifes. Not interested at all.
-
9 RepliesJust came here to say this. I used to PVP on this game daily, but seeing as how it never got better, and in fact, got much worse, I haven't run anything in months. I have a quest log a mile long of catalysts I'll never finish, and I'll never get a season title, because their piss poor, pitiful PVP is a requirement. I'm just -blam!- sick of it. Bungie seriously needs to stop making PVP a requirement for PVE weapons.
-
Look at the the twitchy sweats flittering about with their usual thought terminating cliches. Nothing they say well change that Destiny PvP is widely viewed as a joke and a dumpster fire.
-
All they need to really do is just make it one progression bar and have it you can do it either by killing enemies or guardians and have guardians be worth more. That way people are able to choose the way they want to play, they do it all the time but they never do with these it seems. Guess Bungie doesn't want people to see how many people actually willing choose to play PVP rather then forced to through quests and the like.
-
When you're asking so nicely, how could Bungie possibly say no?
-
17 RepliesI’ll never understand why they don’t just make quests give a PvE and a PvP option. It can be something like, “Defeat 50 guardians in the Crucible OR defeat 500 enemies in this location.” That way everyone is happy and can earn the guns/catalysts the way they want.
-
The same could be said about PvE. Get over it.
-
Edited by NubZz: 8/26/2021 12:30:56 AMJust like not all players are in it for the pve. Hybrid game , just accept it
-
Its 13 kills if you get the second catalyst buff....
-
Then don't play it?
-
Use dynamic control. It one-shots. It was done in 4-5 matches
-
Thorn bk in the day required you to get a positive kd and void kills to unlock it and first curse require 7 or 10 handcannon headshots in 1 match. These catalysts are easy mode just kill stuff
-
2 RepliesFair point but the Omega Catalyst booster things speed it up, n -blam!- dude it could be worse, did you get Thorn year 1 Destiny 1? That -blam!- was -blam!- murder
-
1 ReplyEdited by DarkMoonWolf666: 8/26/2021 5:47:39 AMI would agree if that step wasn't super easy especially with momentum on....you can body shot for a 1hko If it was like 1st curse and the exotics swords back in d1...I would agree with you
-
I don't really play pvp but just wow chill the he'll out it's not difficult it never has been
-
9 RepliesI don't get this community. Guys will run a raid 150 times, but something about running a few quick PVP matches makes their heads explode.
-
1 ReplyI'm tired of being 'forced: into PVE for my PVP guns. (Wah)
-
I don’t mind doing it. I am crap at pvp but still managed to get my 50 kills for catalyst in a day. Only to find out that part 2 requires 50 kills. Boooooo

Edited by CRÆVΞN: 8/25/2021 7:51:37 PMI agree and respect not wanting to PVP, though, I tend to like to…even though I suck at it. You do raise a point, however, that I’ve had issue with… Catalyst attainment and the “forcing” of gameplay features in general. For the former? Bungie, at the end of the day, just sees numbers and are made to bolster their numbers. They don’t see it as people’s comfort zone and preference. I like MMOs I can play like I want to. Like ESO, which doesn’t seem to lock any content one has to have behind gameplay modes. And nor does it lock levels behind it. You can either craft it yourself, farm it, or participate in seasonal/ public events. Destiny, on the other hand, locked light level/ power level behind raids. So you technically couldn’t achieve full level without raiding, which is a big commitment for some. That’s a full 45 minutes to an hour of not talking to the wife or putting the controller down time. This, for me, was fine in 2014, as I still had some time in my life and a few remaining friends, but then they stopped playing Destiny and we all had significantly less time to play anyway. So, these days? I don’t generally seek out this commitment and high(er) maintenance lifestyle… And that’s when stuff like this begins to become apparent. Granted, PVP takes no commitment, or time. Which is why I love it at times. Sometimes I’m not sure how much time I have, or if the wife will want to (or want me to) go somewhere, and I can easily pop out of a match or simply wait the match out. Anyway…catalysts should be progressional. Something like in Destiny 1. No RNG telling you when you can complete your weapon. Things that concern builds and stats/ perks should be progressional. If I’m told, for instance, a certain raid is best with [insert weapon and perk?] and I can’t even begin to tell you when I’ll ever see that catalyst (never mind the actual weapon to drop)? That’s just wrong…because you’ve got nothing in motion and no clue as to where, or when, it will even drop…so that you can begin killing 700 targets (or whatever the actual requirement is) to actually fulfill the catalyst requirements. You need to be able to plan around builds, not rely on RNG to complete them. We already do that for the item itself.

Edited by GalaxySpider: 8/26/2021 4:06:46 AMIn momentum the thing is a one hit kill... Since beyond light (and a few seasons before that) every season pass catalyst requires PvP. First step can be done with any gun. Second step always requires the actual exotix gun to progress. Get the first boost from the pass to speed up the progress (it's on the second page already) and you only need a few PvP kills. The rest is PvE then. Currently momentum is active playlist on rotation. In this mode the weapon body shots people for a kill. It's so easy to complete both steps in this...
-
Oh no, anyways
-
It’s momentum right now. It’s actually not too bad getting the kills especially with the season pass boost. The thing one shots, charge time is fast, and you don’t even need to hit them directly in many cases.

2 RepliesAs much as I absolutely hate the crucible and as much as i would prefer to shoot myself in the head with 50 caliber rifle than ever have to play a match of gambit, maybe word your post in a way that doesn't make you look like a 5 year old
