I've bought and played every season of content in this game, but I don't consent to allowing a kernel level anti cheat run on my system. What am I supposed to do? I would not have access to pvp at all if that were an option, but it's not. I am happy to stop playing the game, but what about all the hundreds of dollars I've invested? Suddenly I'm being denied access to everything I have paid and sacrificed my time for for years, because of cheaters in a game mode I don't even like.
It's like coming to a town building your own house spending years of your life investing into the property, and then someone saying we don't allow Blacks in this town. Me not being okay with that now has to forfeit all ownership of said property to the city, and leave.
Can you not simply lock the PVP game modes behind the anti cheat instead of the whole thing?

Edited by FluffyBunnyFeet: 8/23/2021 7:04:54 PMThis sure smells like a cheater complaining he won't be able to cheat anymore.. Refund....LOL.

1 ReplyAlways the cheaters complaining about anti cheats then …
game history is private.
-
If you want a refund talk to whoever you bought it off. You have no argument for a refund as you agreed to let Bungie make any changes to THEIR game when you agreed to the games terms and conditions.
-
Unprivate your game history, then we can talk
-
You mean you are a cheat and with this update you can’t cheat anymore
-
1 Reply😂😂😂🤷🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️ or stop cheating in PvE
-
People cheat in PvE too. How do you think GM recovers are done.
-
what did i just read? your mad because you refuse to allow an Anti cheat, which Bungie...the OWNER of Destiny is putting in to combat cheating. and if you don't agree, you can't play..... well you are not going to get a Refund, I suggest either agreeing, or don't play anymore. you don't OWN destiny, you Own a license to access Bungie's servers. so your example is incorrect.
-
1 ReplyWtf?!? If your banned that’s on you bc your using something that doesn’t apply by the CoC and also that was the most bullsh#t example I’ve ever read.
-
Wait, let me get this straight. You are using a cheating software, and you’re mad that you got banned for cheating? This seems like it’s just a game doing what it’s intended to.
-
So any reason as to why you made your game history private?
-
I found the cheater
-
Sounds like you are mad because you don't get to cheat anymore

Cheater found

(in my best nelson voice) HA HA
-
You can stop cheating is what you can do
-
If people stopped cheating Bungie would not need a anti-cheat system never mind the massive upgrade to it they have planned. This upgrade to the system is due to player demand due to the number of people who cheat and ruin the game for others.
-
Lol what….?
-
Holy bad analogies, Batman! Also: Choosing not to play because you don’t like an update != Being denied access
