I'm a noob. So Beyond Light, Forsaken, and shadow keep is all i know. On top of that I didn't get to experience extra story content that came with seasons during those respective DLCs. So for me Forsaken felt like it ended very sudden. Shadow keep would be my answer. Being able to essentially meet the darkness was very cool. The torment that the Pyramid put on Eris was very well written and made me feel very sorry for her (poor Eris). I also felt like it was less repetitive as well, and i really like all the corruption themed weapons that came with it.

Best campaign? Taken King Best overall pve? Forsaken
-
5 RepliesThe Taken king followed closely by Rise of iron.Shadow keep and Beyond light had the worst story campaigns in my opinion because of the fact that Bungie used the strikes and nightmare and empire hunts to help make up the campaigns instead of creating more actual story missions.

Ttk I still remember dialogue very clearly Loved it when oryx said At last. I will have vengeance

4 RepliesEdited by Fate: 8/3/2021 11:21:12 AMTaken king the only expansion we got a real new type of enemy that we could actually fight Still waiting on new species to join the fray Honestly was hoping the darkness would have a physical form and be a species But nooo it’s a mystical supernatural whatever the hell it is Siva was cool too but that got old fast

1 ReplyTaken King. Oryx was so intimidating. They’re gonna have to work hard to make Savathun just as intimidating and powerful if not more, cause we’ve yet to face an enemy as dangerous as Oryx.
-
Taken King. Red War had promise but the actual implementation of it was pretty bad.

<Taken King, easy. Forsaken was great but I just think TTK was rather straight-forward and simple and didn't lead into an unsolved cataclysmic event. Then again the curse not being resolved for way too long isn't necessarily Forsaken's fault but... eh.>
-
TTK for me. Forsaken as an expansion edges out on top, but I found the Tangled Shore section of the campaign a little bit dull all things considered. Maybe two really memorable story missions for me. Meanwhile TTK had probably four or so missions I remember really well and fondly and the pacing didn't slow down too much in the middle.

House of Wolves, and Taken King!

I personally enjoyed Taken King the most, and King’s Fall is easily one of my most favorite raids. I do like how the bosses all had personality in Forsaken though.
-
Taken kind, just because of that moment when you enter his chamber and everything dark
-
Destiny was TTK. D2 is forsaken.

I could care less about the big bad of the week kinda story. As weak as Gambit was/is. The introduction to that. The reckoning. And everything else and digging into the things we waited for most in destiny Forsaken is what kept me in this (unpaid) second job it's basically became. (And then dwindled with time and lack of interest in direction //other than the lore//) Not for it itself. But the seasons that followed.

2 RepliesThe one where Cayde dies. Good times.

3 RepliesRed War by a mile. The Almighty is still one of the best missions Bungie has ever created, in Halo or Destiny.
-
The Taken King followed closely with The Red War. We got a new enemy in Taken King which I loved fighting. Then The Red War was.. well.. Lets just say The Almighty is one of my favourite missions. I am hoping The Witch Queen has a good campaign and brings back some fond memories of me enjoying myself playing the story. If not then I guess my two favorites will stick.
-
Forsaken and TTK are really up there for me. Forsaken edges out more because of its really good post-game content IMO.
-
Forsaken What most people remember as the "Campaign", is really only the first half. It's not a traditional campaign, for sure, but the story missions in the Dreaming City are still continuing the story without bleeding into the realms of end game and off-screen exposition too much for me to not count them.

Unpopular opinion: House of wolves was awesome.
