Because if they did that, Crucible would be nothing but mountaintop and recluse again, which is why they did this to begin with.

Not the vaulted ones. Just the ones that the power level is current season. Move all the vaulted ones into a legacy collection.

My B, yeah it was late I didn't read it lol. The actual answer to that person's question is because bungo doesn't want us to use vendors to power level alts by equipping max level gear and then using vendor drops to make up the difference. I hate it too, but that's the logic

Wouldn't matter for anything but (most) exotics anyway, as we still can't get random rolled gear out of Collections.
