Shatterdive is ridiculous

2 RepliesI would rather go against shatterdive than the titan overshield spam. It’s not shatterdive, it’s the glacier made as a whole.

3 RepliesNo go bro, as someone who uses it an exorbitant amount i know its weaknesses and shortcomings. It works as a surprise attack or a back off area control. The only people you get are those that just stand still and get frozen, or those that don't back off when they see an ice wall. The best way too counter a shatter dive is stay moving, and stay away from any ice walls. Its that simple. The only major problem with this is of course if you don't see it coming. But with most things in an ambush your likelihood of winning is low.

1 ReplyWhen i do use hunter, i use shatterdive and i agree with your statement, but i think it should only get nerfed for pvp because were it to get nerfed for pve as well, it would put revenant into uselessness in pve

It is still pretty stupid how (panic) fast you can execute that combo and that its OHK combo also. You can crouch behind cover with shotgun shoot - miss - Space Q X - kill enemy before it even turns around. There is plenty ways it could be adjusted like not be able to shatterdive crystals instantly or you can only activate shatterdive from certain height, reduce shatterdive AoE make it so you have to "aim" better, lower crystal damage vs guardians etc. For those saying dont rush it its not we rushing its stompees hunter running 200kmh in the air with shotgun in hand rushing us. Somewhat hard to avoid class with that much mobility.

Just make damage dealt based on distance travelled, so getting caught in the open is generally your fault, but you can't do the really stupid "I can insta-kill you because you entered a hallway." Also buffs it in PvE, too.

Its easy you see a stasis hunter don't push them, Its a defensive grenade kill, all the other grenades suck so bad as that one does also I usually use it for cover to res like a shield wall or to block off a entry point like a solarnade. Play smart, Simple.

My friend defends it, and I find it a bit annoying. I switched to Warlock from Hunter, and from an outside perspective, I totally agree.
