Am I too late?
Started playing two days ago haven't played sense year two. I'm at 1278 light now. Did I start this season way too late or do I have a chance to hit 1310 at least?

4 RepliesIt's not too late to leave this game . Do it while you can. Or you will invest all the time to realize it's a monotonous repetitive , braindead pve grind with ai only a toddler could be interested in beyond a few weeks.

The only content you'll be shut off from is like VoG hard and higher tier nightfalls, neither of which are going anywhere when the season ends. You can always just keep increasing your light level into next season and do them then, as they'll still be very relevant. And the max light level is only increasing by ten too so it's all g. Just work your way through the seasonal content to get yourself up to date with the story before next season releases and you should be sweet.

Not impossible to reach 1310 at all! I literally did public events to get my Hunter and Titan to 1310. It shouldn’t be too bad since all your drops in the world will continue to increase until you hit 1310. If you keep playing, you should eventually get there without much resistance.

1310 can still be done. IB is next reset, so if you don't mind suffering that mindless, craptastic super-cheat/sweat/unbalanced, broken-a$$ nonsense long enough to pick up those pinnacles, added to the other avenues for pinnacles, you can get there in no time.

Try to get as high as you can to help you achieve pinnacle next season Also levelling is not as important as before unless you plan on doing end game activities.realistically next season activity will probably be at 1300 light so as long you aren't 15 below you be good Depending on how much you play and do the weeklies milestones you could hit 1310 with artefact power(which reset at the end of the season )

This year of D2 (starting with Beyond Light/Season of the Hunt), all seasonal activities will be available until Witch Queen (ETA: early 2022) and the seasons gear can be obtained from drops even outside their respective seasonal activities. For Light Level? Just play what interest ya. Prime, Powerful, or Pinnacle will help you get further. Personally, hold off on getting Upgrade Modules and just equip the next best gear you get that drops until about 1300. The only thing I would be concerned about missing out on is the Season Battle Pass. But, if your diligent on the Season's weekly objectives (which are found the quests/bounties tab, at the top of the screen), you can blow through quite a few ranks with one or two of them completed at a time.

Probably not too late but if you plan to play beyond this season I'd just play naturally for the next 3 weeks and then make LL a priority when the new season starts. Otherwise you might burn yourself a bit scrambling. Honestly I'd just try to bang out the seasonal activity and get as many weapon drops as possible from this seasons gear... there's a fair amount of good weapons this season via Override. All the playlist stuff will stick around so I wouldn't focus on those... though next season the pools will be diluted by 1 more weapon and make rolls that much harder to get.

Not too late for the season but you'll be hard pressed to hit 100 on the pass.

You should be able to do it with little to no effort. Just do pinnacle then powerful activities. After that, grind pvp or gambit to get rank up packages

Just play the game, lucky for you its insanely easy to level up in this game at least when reaching the soft cap

3 RepliesNot sure how many weeks left in the season, but probably. Have you looked at a guide? They can show you how to level up quickly and efficiently. Basically focus on doing as many powerful and pinnacle drops. Then switch guardians, do it all over again.

2 RepliesYou can level to the powerful cap fairly quick. 1300 soft cap 1310 powerful cap 1320 pinnacle cap Just do whatever you want until you hit 1300 and then do your weekly challenges for higher level gear. Plus your artifact level, you’ll be able to play nightfalls and VoG in no time.

I wouldn't worry about your power level too much. There's nothing really worth playing that requires anything above 1310 this season. The nightfall adept weapons aren't anything special and you can still get decent rolls on normal VOG weapons.

If you grind yes you do have time but don’t not worry next season the power cap goes up only 10 not 50 anymore

There's about a month left so hitting 1310 shouldn't be too difficult from 1270. Going 1320+ maybe not though depends on if you raid consistently
