What is your Favorite cinematic moment in all of film history?

As the title says “What is your favorite cinematic moment in all of film history?” I would like to know what moment in film history is your favorite or makes you feel giddy or excited every time you watch it? And what makes that scene so special? The music?, The characters?, or something else? For me it would have to be the Ride of the Rohirrim in Return of the King! the music is amazing and the speech giving by lord Theoden is completely ah inspiring i get chills every time I watch this scene

As someone who watched a ton of transformers as a kid (including the original cartoon) this entire scene was such a major nostalgia trip for me and I loved every second of it. I damn near had a heart attack when Soundwave looked and sounded like his original design lol.

The first scene of 1917 is about 9 minutes long. No cuts, one roll, and 9 minutes. Amazing. Actually loved the whole movie. I'd be willing to rewatch the whole thing, no skips even. Others
Life is Beautiful when that tank rolls in though. That was a good movie. RotS, ObiWan vs Anakin, good music, neato fight Iconic memes End of Evangelion, Third Impact (no I will not include the hospital scene) Barbie: Fashion Fairytale when it breaks your immersion by admitting that Barbie is an actress and the past movies were all in-universe movies as well. It makes sense but still... (I watched a lot of em cause my sister. They were bad, but still childhood nonetheless.) I forget others.
• The scene in LOTR return of the king where there’s the battle of Gondor and Rohan are on the top of the hill and Theoden gives his speech and everyone screams and they ride down and run over everyone, probably one of the best cinematic scenes of all time.

              • In the dark knight rises when Batman returns to Gotham (when he “lights” the bat signal). The music combined with the fact that there is a chance to win really moves you

I was gonna say the same thing. Something about the sheer scale of it combined with the music just gets me all pumped up and nervous at the same time. Great choice!

                  • It may be old, but the utter chaos as this gets started. Compared to today's way of making these type of images, in this every ship model (some clusters of ships) was filmed and edited into these scenes individually.

                    • Star Wars: A New Hope. Opening scene when Tantive IV enters the screen, shooting at something. You assume it's a similar ship, then see a pointed prow. The ship keeps coming, and coming, and coming, getting bigger and bigger, John Wiliams' amazing score growing sinultaneously. Finally three massive KDY ion engines come into view, the music pace quickens, and the chase is on!
Sorry, all out of salt.
That scene in Pulp Fiction where Marvin gets shot in the face. The context of it all with the hand cannon in the appartment. Whatever discussion about fate and acts of god. The sheer chaos of it while Jules is all "WHAT THE F***!?!?" and the tone Vincent responded with with when he goes ".... man, I just shot Marvin in the face". Like no big deal. Somewhat horrific given the graphic nature of the scene but I can't help but chuckle at the pair's interaction.

                          • It's the combination of good sound, vfx, and pacing that makes this scene awesome. Its about an hour into the movie, you haven't seen godzilla at all. This is the scene where you finally get a good look at him, and they portray him with exactly the respect they should.
