Please get rid of Jotunn for the love of God
It has no place in this game. Those that use it require no skill. Point and shoot - like bumpers for kids at a bowling alley.
Let’s keep a gun like THAT around but sunset Randy’s, Trust, Blast Furnace…. 🙄

Try moving the joystick from side to side. If you can do that then we can move onto more advanced controls like pulling the right trigger to fire your weapon.

9 RepliesThe charge time for Jötunn is well beyond the TTK for most meta weapons and the tracking has been nerfed so hard that its shots are easily dodged. So you could rage post and call people disparaging names as you have, or you could be a better guardian and try to improve your shot accuracy, be more situationally aware, and learn to dodge an incoming Jötunn shot better. Good players don't seem to have a problem countering Jötunn. As long as there are 2 hit super flinching 120 hand cannons with massive range, shotguns, and DMT in the game, there is no reason other weapons like Jötunn can't co-exist to at least try and make things fun.

7 RepliesWhat’s interesting here is the responses: just move. Not everyone uses a Hunter, a lot of players engage in mid range where you don’t have the means to simply Move Out Of the Way and Jotunn has no damage fall off.

Edited by Seraph: 7/3/2021 5:39:09 PMPeople actually use this gun in PVP? I don't play PVP myself, but it strikes me as being an inadequate gun for PVP, given how long it takes to charge each shot. It's a fun gun. I used it a lot in PVE back when I first got it. However, I don't use it all that much anymore. It's a powerful Exotic, but not to the point where it's completely broken, and its the only Exotic that everyone ever uses ( cough, Anarchy ). I very rarely ever see anyone using it in PVE anymore.

The point is it doesn’t need a nerf at all, it already has counter play: movement.

The toaster is a shenanigans gun. It's meant not to be taken seriously and I use it when no poops are given. That or I'll bust out the Grav Lance or the Tractor Cannon. Anyone who knows it's on the map will simply step to the side (yes even us titans at full rev with the SB and WR can do it.) and watch it sail by. It's deadliest against hardscoping L337 snipers and up the butt shots. In all my time using it, I would say I've gotten about half to a third of kills vs shots fired.

You should try sidestepping or ducking behind cover sometime. That’s how I beat jotuun. It’s easy to dodge

Its not that good of a weapon. Its very easy to dodge that slow pitch softball machine. Avoid being in tight areas youre most likely being killed by splash damage unless youre reaction time is causing you to eat those shots to the face.

Nah it’s easy to dodge just move Long charge up time and obvious visual and audio cues
