It's probably going to take a season of being hard headed from the community of not spending on transmog to create change. If they get little to no income on a system, there is no point in monetizing it. I honestly... don't care that much mainly due to it being a 1st person game and I have the few good ornaments to use. This isn't FFXIV to me where the 'end game' is looks. Now... when the expansion releases, there is where the most damage could come from because we will have the most new armor sets added to the game for looks.

Their is a strategic reason they didn’t include transmog feedback in the twab! 😁 once it’s implemented for a month and the money has been made you will get your feedback
-
49 RepliesAt this point, the transmog complainers are more annoying than the transmog itself.
-
3 RepliesThey have 1,000 employees. Their average salaries are excellent 103k) overall. This transmog garbage is just that. They could’ve designed 3-4 new maps or introduced new map packs and I’d have easily endorsed it. Instead, they added needless and wasted grind for “drip.” This caters to one particular niche demographic and it’s not sound business. Opening Venus back up with new exploratory areas, plus even two PvP player maps would get the masses together, as opposed to this polarizing tripe.

Edited by Jebus Kreist: 5/2/2021 1:40:23 AMHere's your TWAB bro:
You asked for Transmog even though we already had a record of monetization and grindfests. We at Bungie don't know what you expected to happen. You asked for feces and you got feces. What else do you want in Eververse? Some Diarrhea too? We can do that. Look forward to the next set of Seasonal class ornaments! We also know you mongs will use half of the seasonal limit at most, never switch, and run out of uses for the Transmog system altogether until the next Expansion, Witch Queen™, rolls out with more than 1 new set of hideous armour like Season of the Chosen. Plus we already polled people for what they wanted us to sell in Eververse for the Halloween event. Thank goodness the plan to make sure Warlocks got absolutely shafted with the bad armour worked.
2 RepliesProbably People are actually defending them So why would they do anything
-
They write these things weeks in advance. They plan updates months in advance, possibly years. That they don’t immediately 180 isn’t cowardice, they just don’t think direct dialogue is a good thing. Not defending them, but it is a wise stance when any given game community will hang on every word a poke holes in every statement. Look up some of the blue responses in WoW’s heyday to see just how badly it can go. Likely the reason very few if any devs do live feed back.

13 RepliesEdited by Kiro - 13: 4/30/2021 6:25:33 PMI got 20 armor ornaments per slot, then add in its base look/design thats 21. they are adding 20 next season(transmog) and atleast one new EV set, for a total of 42 options next season. So you are upset a player can can have 42 different options PER SLOT!?! The people that are complaining never spent money and need to blame them selves for never supporting the game. The only thing you leaches have a leg to stand on is the system supports people that played longer and have more sets in their collection, example black armory armor( forges and raid). So a Beyond Light player cant obtain these.

9 RepliesLet the masses keep drinking their sugar coated poison. They'll either suffer painfully through it.......or stop being a part of this abusive relationship. They haven't fixed long standing issues did you really think they'd back down on their Cash shop?
-
2 RepliesCowardice is a trait. So is Laziness and Greed.
Don't support Lazy and Greedy!
-
16 RepliesFirst off, you sound dismissive or flippant toward certain groups which is disappointing. Second, the grind system is no more complex than most in the game. That said, I do hope my time and money are spent on amazing cosmetics.
-
Well name calling isn’t going to make them listen now is it.
-
what were they supposed o do come in last minute and just change it after one week of people crying . especially if Bungie actually likes the system they put in place. if it changes it wont be until next season.
-
4 RepliesNo, we are stuck with this bungie, that's the real bad news.
-
7 RepliesI can't imagine why bungie ignores this forum. We've got such amazing and well written posts such as this one.
-
5 RepliesBungie’s revenue stream is at 500 million, annually. Average employee (1,000 of them) salary is 103k. They’re greedy and everyone should know it. The transmog system is garbage.
-
3 RepliesFrom this point out it's bright dust for bungie. Transmog really is the final straw for their greedy flag to be waved.
-
4 RepliesWho cares. It’s a friggin ornament.
-
Awww 👶🍼
-
They can't hear you as they have there fingers in there ears. normal Bungie reaction when the Community isn't happy
-
They'll fix it like in a few months then everyone will praise them again instead of just going: why wasn't this the first roll out? Destiny 2 fanatics are super easy to please their standards aren't very high at all and they hate to make Bungie accountable for all their continuous -blam!- ups.
-
It’s pretty simple. Bungie has priorities, and they aren’t making the game better or more fun. They want money money money!
-
2 RepliesIt’s better than NOTHING so BE Grateful to the Hard working Bungie.
-
2 RepliesIt really doesn't matter how much you shout or scream at Bungie on this forum they won't take any notice. They've already planned this, they'll write a Twab in a few weeks saying how they've learnt lessons etc. They announced the worst version of transmog so when they announce they've increased the amount of materials you can grind for due to feedback. The community will clap like trained seals saying how "we won" All the while Bungie will be laughing as they implement the system they always planned and get an extra revenue stream. Honestly none of this should surprise us. The only way they'll listen is if people stop playing the game in big enough numbers to hurt Bungie financially and that hasn't happened.
-
1 ReplyJust don’t play anymore...
-
Yeah I’m sure they are going to revamp the whole thing 1 week after they announced it LOL
