There is no case for sbmm unless 3 conditions are met first:
-Dedicated servers
-Team based mm (both teams must have identical # of solo players and equal fireteam sizes), freelance removed
-Tiered progression based on skill bracket
—1x to ~6x multiplier towards xp/valor, bounty/quest/triumph progress and loot quality/quantity (+ any other currency/material I failed to mention)

wrong. my internet is fine. dont experience lag. que times? no big deal to me. the only ppl that advocate one over the other are purely selfish reasons, on both sides. i want a fair match so i want sbmm. others want better connection and pool of players to farm , so they want cbmm. 2 valid arguements. fewr playlists are needed. mm options are needed. this will improve que times , player pool, and better "matches". but i dont make the decisions so bungie goes with whoever they want to "cater" to.

is exactly what a kd farmer with bad internet would say.

Edited by A_mo: 3/25/2021 4:41:06 PMPeople are so far gone when it comes to the SBMM thing with what they think that it does or was doing that its just pathetic. And tbh those who still do absolutely nothing but make posts where they dream up what kind of person they think they are talking to deserve to get farmed.
-
lol you dont like sbmm. probly dont like fair match. thats ok. cling to your connection.
-
Its whatever. My only thing is that at this point peoples' ignorance of what they are talking about when it comes to matchmaking should be pointed out to them sometimes if it seems like it would help. SBMM isn't what you think it was and that's the reason why its gone. The reasons for why you think that they removed it also do not help anything because they are also completely untrue. I'm a no-lifer, not a K/D farmer. Get your facts straight. And the kicker is that you don't even like SBMM. You just don't know that, or why you don't like it.
-
dont assume you know what i like or know. makes you look ..........get over yourself.
-
It doesn't matter what I look like. I'm pretty confident that you'll like what's to come. Everything they've been doing is so on point that I'm sure that whatever it is we are going to like it more than what we've had in the past.
-
on this point i agree that hope is in the air.
-
Oh, I just can't say it on here as much as I want to but they are really showing true mastery when it comes to a lot of things. Even "little" things. I still can't get over the Caitl radio transmission. And as far as the matchmaking, I'm not trying to be an asshole. Its just that in a lot of ways SBMM vs. CBMM is over and from what it seems everyone will most likely like what's to come more than what we've had in the past.

Edited by DHawk12: 3/25/2021 1:37:32 AMMy post is the exact formula for sbmm is work properly, nothing else will work. The majority of players across all skill brackets would be fine with sbmm with those conditions with exception to stat farmers/tryhards that refuse to give up pubstomping under any circumstance and bad players that are full of rage at the thought of skill being rewarded.

As it is all of those win traders in Trials haven't received a penalty for exploiting the game in a clear violation of the TOS.
