Man what a mess and a shame...
Do you feel that when this house is fully remodeled, it will be at the end of its life cycle? And we won’t get much time to play it in its best state of play...
How many years do you see this game having left before it’s pushed aside and the servers are shut off?

No way to know for sure. Bungie is being tight-lipped. But what hints they have managed to let slip suggests that the franchise will have a life beyond Lightfall. Even if Destiny 2 doesn’t. IOW. I don’t think Smith would have taken a job that was set to self-destruct in four years... or would guide the franchise in a way designed to destroy his own job. People aren’t wired that way. Everything Bungie is doing suggest that they play for the long term whenever they can.
