How Sunsetting should have worked: -Keep your best-rolled loot in your vault -Temporarily retire weapons from loot pool, [b][i]and actually replace at least half of what was sunset[/i][/b]. -When weapons are “reissued”, your old roll is able to be infused to the new cap, and is given the “Legacy Re-roll perk” where for a small sum you can roll new perks on your gun.

You guys totally gave a new meaning to the phrase "Eat my dust!" Because that's what's left of the game when you are through with it. Just dust. All of it. Covered in dust.

Unbelievable. You really don't care about your community. Sunsetting shouldn't have happened without a hardcore replacement. Now knowing that, you backtrack with the tiny re-release of destinational gear to make the destinations relevant. Trying to make it all shiny and new. So you punch us in the gut with the sunsetting, followed by a punch to the back of the head with the re-releases that we can't infuse with the content you know much of us have in our fault. Remarkable! You have done nothing to help this game or your consumers (us, the community) but simply make everything worse and piss us off. I'm truly confused at who you are trying to make happy with your fine tuning. It doesn't move the needle merely enough to be relevant to any type of player in this games base. I think you have screwed up so bad now that you don't know what major steps to take to correct it. Well either way, you are shedding players. I paid for the ultimate edition unfortunately, so I'll be here. But I promise you, after this frustration and slap in the face, let alone the past seasons that didn't amount to what they should have..... I'm one of the players you won't have to worry about again. I'm done unless you can actually admit you messed up and right this. I'm not holding my breath tho.

5 RepliesEven the changes for the Vendors aren't respecting player's time. By Resetting your Rank, you get an Ascendant Shard. Two things wrong with this reward. First, remember that stupid Dawning Community event we did a few weeks back? Everyone was upset because the reward was just a Grandmaster Nightfall reward that everyone could've done much quicker than the event. Same thing here. What's going to take longer to do? A Grandmaster Nightfall, or Resetting your Crucible Rank? Second, I don't know about everyone else, but I'm already sitting on a bunch of Ascendant Shards. Why don't I use them to upgrade my gear? Because there's very little point to invest those resources into Armor that becomes obsolete in a year. And what about the free Exotic for every Reset after? Again, I don't know about everyone else, but most people already have all the Exotics in the game. So there's little to no incentive to keep Resetting your Rank.

31 RepliesPlease give the IP away. Bungie has done way too much damage to this game that it is literally (beyond repair) with their efforts. They have shown without Activision or another publisher that can produce decent content as the other studios actually did from Activision, that they can not handle this game juggling 3 or more projects at one time. This game deserves a hell of a lot better than what Bungie is offering.

You guys are complete jokers: You want us to grind for gear most of us already had, which became useless thanks to you? This is your solution to the issues with sunsetting? You want sun setting to work like you dreamed you have to put plenty of new loot into the pool. This whole, “oh we screwed up, play hard and get back your old gear” approach is a joke.

Players give concise answers, You can have it as a sticky, heavily modded, no arguments. What with bringing back old weapons and turning all my tokens into junk next season sounds amazing!!! What happened? You guys used to be the kings of hype! But now every time you tell us something you put me off the game a bit more each time.

You want people to get excited over reissued weapons that shouldn’t have been sunsetted in the first place? We guys at Bungie are a joke that should be the title of the twab. Still nothing good coming to pvp. I’m done trying to figure you losers out.
