I had suspicions once a duo partner went on a 19 kill streak. Checked his steam profile and in aimbot/aimlock groups on steam- smoking gun. I'm seeing pre-firing, pre-throwing grenades and sniper shine scopes being shined in my face from across the map as soon as I come around a corner and being instantly headshot. I had my suspicions but after watching videos on how to spot cheaters in destiny 2, I realize the cheating is EVERYWHERE. I estimate any iron banner lobby has between 3-6+ cheaters, EVERY. SINGLE. GAME. That's how bad it is; more people are cheating than not cheating. Everyone is running an aimbot and a wallhack, there isn't even any point to playing unless you cheat too. This game is in the -blam!-ing gutter, and while I've only been playing for around two weeks, I see this problem has been a huge issue for over two years and has never been addressed. I hope you are happy with the state of your game bungie, rampant with hackers to the point its a waste of time and nobody stays around. I'll be quitting soon. The smoking gun for me was when I realized I have been top 1% or 5% in most of the games I play, but for some reason in D2 I am silver/bronze with 0.37 kda and 35% winrate, and I haven't had a single positive scoreline in 60+ games. Not ONCE I can get lucky and go 7-6 score or something, in the lowest elo? Something doesn't add up Oh that's right, GETTING lucky and having one good game isn't even possible, because the other players can see you through walls, know you are coming, their reticle is on you right as you come out of cover, I don't even have a chance to acquire my target and aim down sights before he has two tapped me with headshots, or even worse he threw a freeze grenade at my feet. The state of the game is a joke, and I'm so disappointed- I was really enjoying it despite being destroyed constantly in pvp, I felt i still had room to improve and I was okay with that. Now that I realize I've been getting scammed this entire time because every lobby is full of cheating scum, I realize how meaningless and pointless it is to try to improve anymore, I just want to quit. Good job on the zero effort into putting in anti cheat protocols in your game, because the state of the game is in the gutter.
