Because the same people make the same posts at least once a week just for attention. Like why do you need attention so bad that you lie on a game forums, it just doesn’t make sense and is very old.

Just look around on the Featured threads and you'll find them, and if they're not the original post then they're somewhere in the replies. Almost every thread has at least one of them, heck, there could be one somewhere on this thread by the time I post this. Naming names isn't allowed (though one does share their name with a beloved cartoon character), but the repeat offenders will become pretty noticeable pretty quickly.
