Let’s talk about why there are no new PVP maps?
A lot of maps were taken away because of the planets being removed, no biggie. But where are the new maps? Like on Europa or an old d1 map?

6 RepliesBesides Destiny 2 I play the following games for multiplayer modes: -Overwatch -Rainbow Six Siege -Hunt Showdown -Rocket league -Apex Legends -Dead by Daylight And they all provide new maps at one point or another. So I'm [b][u] extremely[/u][/b] curious to know what is Bungie's response to not including new maps. As a player, this has been a mojor dissapointment for me. I understand Covid-19 plays a roll and I know Luke Smith has made it a point multiple times that they don't want to over crunch their staff. I guess it is what it is.

Because pvp is a part of the free to play aspects of the game. Look at everything that free to play have access to and how much attention those areas get in terms of loot or updates and you will have solved your puzzle.

15 RepliesMoney. You can't charge for content in the current FPS, PVP market. Players won't accept it, and it fractures the player base. So most PVP make their money by charging for cosmetics. But you can't do that in this game because PVE players resent it, and see those cosmetics as "cut content" that is locked behind a microspending paywall. Result? No way to recover any of the resources spent on PVP....so Bungie is dialing back the amount of support that they are giving PVP.

Because Bungie is a lazy developer with NO RESPECT for their players. PVP has been ingnored for years by Bungie and they will continue to do so. Bungie's new business strategy is this ------ Resell them D1 as slowly as possible and see how much more money we can make with ZERO effort..... Sadly, too many people have been so starved by the lack of D2 content that they are actually happy to get D1 sold back to them for the third of fourth time.

My issue is where 75% of content is gone, but only 5% is replacing the vacuum. And 1% is new content

Even though I don't play it much and I hate it I still am aware of how pathetic it is that Bungie can't be bothered at all to make some new crucible maps. 2-3 years now and the only new maps were ones copy pasted from D1?!?!? That's just sad. Bungie is pathetic.
