Half the time u can’t even stun thrm because they constantly teleport. When they get stunned it is never long enough to kill them. They sometimes don’t even get stunned and keep healing.

Overload isn't the problem. Its the overload rounds. Why on my artic haze do I sometimes dump a mag and a half without stunning the overload? Why doesn't overload work like unstoppable? When scouts have a great overload mechanic but autos got -blam!-ing nothing

They're pretty annoying. Even an "easy" Overload champion in the raid will just constantly ignore staggering and teleport even if multiple players are trying to butcher it with swords.

Was starting to think these threads were just people with poor loadout choices but today I gave in and agreed. Champions in general need reworking especially Barrier Servitors that shield the enemies then teleport twice as soon as you've taken away their shield. It's not fun it's just finicky and gimmicky.

Just remove champions period. They're nothing but annoying bullet sponges.

All champions should be reworked. No one has ever said "I enjoy dealing with champions!" More so barriers and overload champs, as that they're incredibly annoying to deal with. While yes, you can kill them, the fact that sometimes they choose not to get staggered is really annoying. That, and the fact barriers can shoot at you while being immune and healing. And before someone says it, I have done the legend lost sectors, I have both exotics. So it's less me being mad I can't do it, and more so never enjoying their existence.

Scout rifle with explosive bullets and you’re good to go, bring erianas for in between when it’s stunned. Make sure scout is always reloaded so you can always stagger(have to have the scout perk too overload or whatever on gauntlets) you’ll begin to get it. I wasn’t able to grind all morning but I did last night and was able to get to around 1238 and beat the 1250 lost sector. Unfortunately I got an enhancement core lol, then had to get off. Good luck!

2 RepliesIt also doesn't help that some of the mods are a hit and miss. I was leveling up to run the legendary lost sector 1250 and I got close to it, tried it out, and realized how fast the champions shield goes back up after breaking it. So I thought okay I'll build my power up some more to do quicker damage and it changed to 1280. I was going to run it solo and the minute I saw that the level requirement changed I was like screw that, I'm not running that solo just yet 😄

6 RepliesUse dusk grenade. Stagger with overload weapon. Immediately throw grenade in them. Light attack with lament until finisher pops up. Make sure you are using the default finisher.

Don't fall into the trap of thinking overload auto rifles do anything for sure 🤣 I don't know why they even make that perk. Every single time I used that on an overload champion, it gets free and heals before I can stun again. Sure the grenade works...and Divinity. That's it. Awful

Heroic Perks for strikes way filled in exactly what champions do now. Make enemies that are normally easy to kill, far more dangerous and far harder to fight. The only difference is the champions are tedious while the arc burn lightswitch boosted thrall are fun.

Edited by iflytii: 11/27/2020 7:39:12 PMI struggled with this at first doing solo lost sectors but the stasis grenades do an excellent job stunning, and re-stunning (if you don't get them killed quickly) overload champions. Build to regen grenades quicker and modify them to be active longer - that frees up your weapon choices to concentrate more on damage or matching shields.
