Never nerf stasis for pvp
Bungo, as much as I hate your writing team (because I'm sick of this game being basically Clovis Bray's man-hating kids having daddy issues and convincing us to betray the vanguard over and over again because of it), I am in love with stasis for pvp.
Watching some matches online, you finally did it. You crazy mofos did it. EVERY super can be frozen, every guardian gets frozen, you can freeze mid dodge, you can freeze up and close and at a distance.
Shotties don't matter, snipers don't matter, nothing matters. It's just freezing someone, tea bagging them, and then sending them on a one way trip to guardian Jesus. Then it happens to you and this washes, rinses, and repeats for the whole match.
Never change this. Screw meta. Can't shoulder charge me if you can't move Titan scum, can't HHSN me scum warlock, and you can't kill me 4 times in one super anymore, shitbird hunters.
Best thing in D2 in a long time. I can't wait to finish unlocking stuff and abuse the crap out of this.

1 ReplyI froze a stormcaller super and gunned it down today. Not gonna lie, that felt dirty. Freezing supers outright definitely feels a bit... too much lol.

I hope other classes take a note from stasis Solar classes should apply a burn During burn abilities cannot be used and target suffers dot Void classes should apply life leech Leech damages target removes a portion of targets ability charge and gives it to the attacker. Arc classes should apply shock Shock suppresses abilities and causes dot Have these effects across all classes and have them more competitive with stasis

3 RepliesNeither Ana or Elsie hates men? Elsie hated Clovis because the dude was a monster. Like arguably worse than Oppenheimer. Ana didn't know how to feel about him because she had no idea what her past was other than that she was Ana Bray and her sister was Elsie. Ana convinced us to work with Rasputin because he was the "only way" (I think she just wanted to get closer to her past, Rasputin being part of that) to stop Xol. Elsie convinces us to use the Dark because she's desperate. She talks mainly about 1 dark timeline that she's seen (her original timeline), but she also hints at the fact that she's actually seen an indeterminate number timelines go to shit because Eramis wins. She's been pushed to her limit seeing universe after universe essentially "lose" because of it. So of course she's willing and actively striving to go to extreme measures to prevent that from happening.

Crucible is about a competitive setting, hopefully balanced for most gamestyles. Having a hard freeze that is THAT easy to do is a bad thing imo. U seem to be playing PVP just for laughs (which is fine) but crucible is actually intended to be competitive in nature, so regardless of why anyone is playing it, its obvious that due to its competitive setting having a hard freeze that is so easy to do is just weird and doesnt encourage developing a tactical gamesense rather just goofing around (which is not what crucible is about)

He didn’t care about who got hurt to fulfill his goals. Several of the new books, along with dialogue in game talk about all the awful things Clovis did. It censored it but it’s a certain German doctor known for his cruel experiments....

I agree with you on the stasis stuff... But please read the lore. I do agree the story wasn’t as good as possible (but for the size of the dlc still amazing), but don’t call his granddaughters man hating. Read the lore. They hate him, because he a) didn’t care about casualties in his quest for power, b) did some mad scientist stuff that was really messed up, and c) experimented with darkness and vex and kinda sorta helped them.

Too true. I still haven’t settled on how I feel about stasis in PVP beyond that fact it is really P2W and that sucks.
