Which Bungie Halo has the best soundtrack

The first 3 are classics, I couldn’t really decide between them although3 probably edges it because I’ve played it more. ODST is different in a good way, and it’s the only one that I’ve listened to separately to playing the game itself, so POSSIBLY that gets the title.

The only thing missing is Steve Vai's wailing guitar used in Halo 2. They could have included that somewhere in the mix. ODST did nothing for me. It was too melancholy. Reach wasn't bad, but the changes they made to the game from prior Halos didn't sit well with me, over shadowing my view of the aesthetics from the music.

3 RepliesODST. It's the kind of music that can make you cry without even a single lyric. It has tons of instrumental diversity, from piano, to sax, to guitar. Every track is memorable and sets a very clear tone. A perfect soundtrack for an amazing game. Overal ODST has the best tone, expessaily the Rookie missions. Personally I think ODST had better level design and looked more unique, mainly because there was night and day, rain and sun, and the underground parts, and the soundtrack makes the areas even more memorable.

They are all masterpeices, but ODST is my favorite because it has some good Sax parts in it
