Thank goodness nobody can spread it before they get a fever.

1 ReplyLMAO. As much as we wish that could happen, it’s like The Maze Runner books. It’s a disease you don’t know you have until you catch it.

That's how my workplace is. We all have to show our badges, wear masks, go through a temp screening, there's social distancing arrows, x's on the floors, dividers etc. It's a govn't regulated clean environment, being safe is sort of the norm, so no one is really taking this TOO seriously. At the height of this, we only had a handful of confirmed cases out of about 1k employees, so we've been lucky.

5 RepliesWe have to wear a mask if we are unable to social distance. Also have radars that we carry to track of we got within 6ft of someone. And has alarms going off if you are too close. Have to also wear gloves anywhere where we wear a hard hat. Leave the state? 2 week stay at home quarantine even if you have no symptoms or test negative.

2 RepliesAlso I think forcing u to get temped violates some Hipo law or something. Cuz at Costco it's optional. Everyone says no.

10 RepliesOver 130 days to slow the spread, places are still in lockdown. Masks were optional, now they are mandatory in some places. 99.997% survival rate. Are still listening to these so called experts? After the first 30 days, I stopped listening. You should do the same.

I know how much u actually like working, but I'd take Viagra or some shit that raises my temp so have to get tested and get a few days off...

Edited by Fate: 8/4/2020 10:15:22 AMTaking temperature really doesn’t do anything since lots of people never develop any symptoms So this really isn’t effective since some will slip through And a symptom check off list isn’t effective either because again some people never have symptoms

1 ReplyMan if everyone could've just gotten over themselves for a month none of this shit would be a problem. Like I barely go outside all year round, it's not that hard!
-
I think after about two months of the guards doing it they just gave up ,now they just pointed at your head and say go ahead ,no sound ,no lights, “ I think the batteries have been dead for two weeks now lol” it’s all just a joke to my company, they really don’t give a shit about their employees, never have ,never will.

Same here, since we are a US owned company, but since it is not allowed by privacy laws in the Netherlands it has to be done on a voluntary basis. And if they refuse you still cannot deny them acces unless they show symptons of decease.

Better to send them home before they infect more people than they already have

While I appreciate the effort. Someone should inform your employer that a lot of COVID-19 cases are asymptotic. So, someone could have it, and spread it to everyone at your work, and no one would even know about it. Still, at least your employer is making an effort, which means a lot.
