Honestly yeah, I've always liked the feel of kinetic shotties a lot more. Most of my favorite primaries are energy as well so Astral is a good pairing.

Oof I've got a lot, but my favorites right now are Tarrabah, Devil's Ruin, Trinity Ghoul, Seventh Seraph sidearm, and the Ikelos Hand cannon and submachine gun. My surrounded/rampage kindled orchid is up there as well.

Kindled orchid is great, and same with Ikelos SMG. The SMG is insane!
