My thoughts on the twab, and todays reveals
First off, quick disclaimer, especially since theirs a countless number of people here who feel rightfully frustrated, but can't put up a good argument.
This post is merely just to express my thoughts and frustrations, to bungie. If i cared for a response from the community, I'd look elsewhere, so don't expect a response.
Sooooooooo THOSE SUBCLASSES ARE QUITE THE HYPE!!! I hope coldheart moves to -blam!- as well.
As for the twab, not a good twab, not a bad twab, just stale. Sure its kinda not stale for those who missed the live stream, but eh?
Theirs countless players who could care less about ANYTHING bungie has to say, until Bungie talks about making anti cheat. Actual anti cheat.

1 ReplyI'm getting pretty tired of the TWABs. All they do is promote Bungie rewards, political garbage, and repeat stuff we already know. I guess it was nice that they mentioned BEAVER errors but the TWAB overall was still pretty dry. There is so much they can talk about but don't for some reason. They give themselves 1 time a week to communicate with their community and they waste it. I want answers to all my Transmog related questions. Let us know what the future plans are and how development is going. How about a list of everything in the entire game getting Vaulted so that I can complete everything before it's gone. It seems like they don't like talking unless whatever they are saying is set in stone. I would like if they'd at least share their plans and tell us later or warn us that it might change. SOMETHING.

It looks fun. -blam!- looks like it has the potential to shake up combat quite a bit, and finally bring some balance to the fact that so many enemies simply rush you and are constantly in your face. 2. I don't think anit-cheat in the industry standard sense is a realistic possibility. With this game's reliance on P2P networking, it will always be vulnerable to cheating in ways that games that use dedicated servers won't be. Which is why I think taking Lars Bakken's (sp?) advice to "not take Destiny PvP too seriously" and just have fun with it, is the way to go.

It annoys me how much they drag the trailer on by just walking around slowly for over a minute. But the actual gameplay? Kind of boring. Choose a spot, throw a nade, make a pillar of ice, use it to stop ads or use it as a platform. Maybe this wouldn't be boring, if this didn't already exist. Just off the top of my head, this is in Breath of the Wild and Bomberman Hero, and I'm willing to bet there are other games that use ice like this.

3 RepliesSeriously dry ice that’s the best they can do for darkness maybe steal souls then kill stuff with energy if their charging that much for freezing I can do that in the winter. They haven’t mentioned how much of gear will be cheap recycled trash we already paid for either.

4 RepliesI’m thinking those grenades that make platforms in that video are going to create soooooo many bugs that we shouldn’t be able to get into, but that just means more possibilities. Expect a raid that requires you to make your own platforms to get across a jumping part because that looks very possible if you can make your own platforms. Imagine the coordination required to do a jumping part in raid and all you have is walls you have to stick grenades to for forming platforms.

4 RepliesWhy would coldheart become a new power we just discovered, like how does that make sense? Coldheart was never Ice anyway, it uses coolant technology for its reactor to stop it from oveeheating.

No mention of July's Iron Banner in the TWAB which either means they forgot it, or there isn't one... The IB for June 2020 actually started on 30 June, so July should be next Tuesday 28. If it isn't happening then we had better be getting two in August or Sept to make up for the missing month

Its a good sign they are moving forward with ability design. More utility and less reliant on simple (MORE DAMAGE!).

Came here to say no matter the hype I can't support this game anymore until cheating is addressed. Free to Play until I lose interest.
