Unacceptable pinnacle rng
I started my warlock needing a bond and a helmet and ive gotten 6energy weapons and 7 kinetic weapons we need rng protection,

Yes so I've had the same problem all energy or Kinetic. THATS ALL I GET. Only armor drop I was to getis from the Pit of Heresey because it's guaranteed!!!!!!!!! It's really a burn out makes me want to quit when I play for hours and hours and I can't progress my power level with my pinnacle drops. It's demoralizing....... I hope they can change this BS

3 RepliesThis topic has been discussed for at least the past 3 weeks now on the Forum. No response from Bungie which signifies that the algorithm used to determine pinnacle drops is working as intended. The sole purpose of duplicate pinnacle drops is to keep players grinding. Bungie has no desire to alter this.

1 ReplyWe definitely do. I've been able to hit 1060 base on my titan and hunter for four weeks now, and I keep getting nothing but repeats. Gloves and chests for me. It's extremely frustrating. I literally have everything I want at 1060, but one piece on my hunter and titan. I do literally every single pinnacle every single week on hunter and titan.

3 RepliesWhere is the excitement if you know that you'll get the peaces guaranteed after some time? In Destiny 1 it took me years to get a gjallarhorn, knowing that I'll get it someday gifted for sure would have made the grind way less exciting.

No rng protection would hurt the experience there needs to be no protection so you can have bad luck and good luck. When you get lucky or finally get that piece it’s a sense of joy or relief. It would not be fun if you did get what you wanted everytime. And you are guaranteed to get 2 pinnacle armour pieces a week if you do all your pinnacles so that’s good enough
