Finally got Anarchy after my 67th clear!!!!
17 completions after you raised the drop rate before I finally got it. Most of the guys grinding with me now have 12-17 clears and all got Anarchy at least 2 times during these... 1 guy got 3! WTF
Don't do this RNG raid exotic any more. Make it a quest. Seriously, I've had Divinity since my 2nd GoS but took 49 chests to get 1k voices and 67 for Anarchy.
I watched 39 people get Anarchy drops along the way before I got mine.

I think the worst RNG stories I have come from this game... I missed out on the Chromicler title when it mattered, when I could have gotten the crest pin, back when the Truth To Power lorebook was a CHANCE drop every max curse week. So once a month, I would get a small shot at one of the eleven pieces... I got two in the first two consecutive max weeks, and then never again until Season of Dawn. I finally did get my title, but only recently, and it cheated me out of buying merch. My other worst is actually very comical... Recently did a GoS run and got a chest armour out of every. Single. Drop. I walked out of that raid with six chest pieces. lol

Shouldn't be a problem now. They added bad luck protection for Tarrabah, Anarchy, and 1K voices. They go from a 10% drop chance to 50% over 20 clears. So the chance of it dropping increases 2% for every clear until you hit 50%. Now they also let you farm the boss encounter itself over and over again. So you don't even need to clear the entire raid, just the final encounter. So you'll for sure get the weapon within 20 clears of the final boss, but likely before then.

we've been collecting etheral keys for a few weeks now, had five to hand in, on the third chest 1K baby 3 out of the six of us got one, all of us had 4+ keys when opening chest after widows walk. I wouldn't suggest having more than for you would run out of chests to open as a group, fyi happy hunting, Wook

Ewww. That's why I'll never get any of the raid guns. I can't bring myself to put in that much time and effort.

10 RepliesI agree with this...BUT. Random.dropping exotics give it that I FINALLY GOT IT feeling. Quest exotics dont do that. So what i suggest is...have the weapon exotic behind a quest...but give every raid an RNG item ...like a ghost or exotic sparrow....or even a good shader or emote.

3 RepliesBack in D1 my buddy had 110 crota clears before he got black spindle to drop, we would go in and cheese it 10 times a day trying to help him get it, this game has had ridiculous rng since day one and bungie wonders why people cheese their stupid raids.

Congrats dude! We have all been there before and it does fricking suck, but also so satisfying in the end...usually lol. It took me 97 survival matches to go from 1600-2100 to get my Lunas. Once I finally got the Lunas, a part of me was like...”I don’t even want this shit anymore” FYI- my fav gun Anyways, enjoy the Anarchy!!!!! It’s a lot of fun!!!! You’ll love it and find that there are so many different situations you can use it in!

I think rng based exotics give people something to do in the game so rng based exotics should stay

Woohoo 🥳... go get ya DPS on now bro! NGL though, I like the idea of a random drop raid exotic, because I remember the first time I got the Vex Mythoclast and it was an awesome feeling. They just need to add a bit of bad luck protection so you can’t get more than X clears without it dropping

At least now we can farm the older raids. Get checkpoints and redo them until you get what you want.
