For real. I haven’t masterworked anything in months because it takes a lot of materials and then Bungie makes them obsolete.

Then youre an idiot? What are you saving the shards for, do you think one day youll be able to turn them into bright dust? I feel like you and the op are only referring to guns which have no reason to be masterworked anyway? Why even speak?
-
Why even speak? You should ask yourself that question.
-
Why? Im not the one saying pointless crap, you people are. Good try

I’ve gotten five shards, ever. I don’t raid, so getting those materials are next to impossible for me. I’ve Masterworked three pieces of armor, two cloaks and a bond. That’s it. And the bond will be useless after this season.

Yeah no one believes youve masterworked 3 things, youve been playing for 3 yrs. And no shards come from the raid so...? Either way i thought of this before but didnt say it, if youre not trying to get shards or dont have any then whats the problem? You must of not been trying before the announcement so pretending like youve "quit" trying because of sunsetting is what adults call a lie. Its mind boggling how people act like this is going to be destiny Armageddon. Theres literally nothing thats going to change about the game.

I’ve actually been playing since D1 beta, but I did switch accounts when I swapped from 360 to PS4 then back to Xbox. Anyways, I’ve only gotten five cores, ever. Part of it is that idk really HOW to get Shards, part of it was that I never wanted to use them because I didn’t have any armor with decent enough stats. Last season, I started getting a few 60+ from Iron Banana, and I masterworked a cloak and a bond. This season, once I found a cloak I liked, I MWed that one, after making sure it wouldn’t be sunset for the next few seasons. So yeah, three armor pieces. Most of my cores went to weapons in previous seasons.

Edited by magister1001: 7/6/2020 4:09:40 AMJust kill the POH boss three times a week and dismantle the crappy masterworked armor. 1.8 shards for some planetary materials and glimmer. That’s over 20 shards in a season which covers one armor piece on all three characters and one to two exotic pieces. If you want different singes you will then need to add in some nightfalls or be really good to go flawless on trials. You also get some from the season pass. If I’d known about GOS/LW armor earlier I certainly wouldn’t have masterworked SOTP or seasonal armor to put fallen/taken mods on.
