Oh the times where we used our sparrows to challenge on a race! How many of you want to have SRL back?

For those non-D1 players.
SRL is the Sparrow Racing League that was hosted by Amanda Holiday.

Sad though it is, I don't think Bungie are capable of bringing it back, especially in a bug free, fun format The only hope is that someone at Bungie realises it would be the ideal advert for selling more eververse ornaments and sparrows....

SRL was one of my favorite things in the game. Super fun

Would be perfect for this event. SRL, rift and a PvP game mode like scorched but with a sword (fencing).

I want it back. It was the best part of D1 for me. I was so mad when it wasn't included during the Christmas event. I heard people speculating it'd be back because of some promotional video or whatever. I died a little inside when it didn't come back.

It would be cool, but with the state of the game right now I feel like giving us SRL would be a joke. There are countless fundamental problems with the game that need to be paid attention to and Bungie is already struggling without activision.

Would have been cool if guardian games was actual games and not a constant grind. I mean SRL would have been fun maybe even head over to the leviathan and do something there too

Especially in light of Bungie admitting they were [i]literally[/i] running out of room to add new content to the game? Besides, SRL makes NO sense in the context of Destiny. What good does racing against each other do in a war for humanity’s survival? Crucible, sure, but sparrow racing? That’s just silly.

I say this every week in my mind that bringing the sparrow racing league back would be so fun. It was probably one of the most memorable times I've had of playing destiny! But, it seems like whatever the fan base asks for or suggests, bunge does the exact opposite 🤷🏻♀️

The majority want it back, it won't happen. Bungie have said it won't come back. All they'll do is keep doing sparrows hinting at it to string you along. They've been ignoring every thread about SRL for years since they said they wouldn't bring it back.

The game is in a dismal state. They're taking away weapons people grinded for, nerfs are out of hand (again), there's no real new content with none coming any time soon, bug after bug persists, Trials has more problems than a simple list can do justice, and you want....sparrow racing? That is the type of placating bullshit Bungie would try and put in place though.

Well, unless it was an Eververse purchase. Not that its of much use to most, but you can still do srl in private matches in d1. Someone should organise a tournament. Bonus points for hitting the forklift.

I didnt get to participate in srl back in d1 (I played d1 but didnt even know about srl until after the last one.), so I would really enjoy doing it in d2.
