What's are some good PvE legendary energy weapons?
I mostly run the Monte Carlo and i need a good energy weapon.
Any suggestions?

Edited by Alcapwn: 3/19/2020 3:01:43 AMAnd with that being said, there’s no bad weapons, example you could get by & feel completely comfortable playing with a duke mk44 or a translation theory or a good ole uriels gift which was a top teir & a go to back in the day & some still use it, great leveling weapon. However with today’s game & builds weapons great or good are more sorted to the build your rocking. Find what works for you and ur build. As most weapons in today’s RNG match/suit certain builds matching perks to talent perks Etc. So your question & it’s answer is really anything pinnacle or RNG drop related is a good legendary weapon. I’d be researching (reddit) and find what weapons are others using with what builds and go from there.

Side arms are in a good spot to go with any mid/somewhat long range. The last dance, last hope, calus drang.. Now, you will lose to a shotgun if they are son you or have perks lost... but they are very good. You would probably like that combo especially if you get quickswap on said recommendations

Um there’s no such thing as a bad weapon, only bad players. Tho there are sum exotics that would qualify as an under performing weapons & serve better as dust collectors & spot takeruppers in ur vault. Would probably be better Dismantling into shard/dust but being so shiney just can’t bring myself to do it.

Ikelos shotgun’s a classic, any shotty with one-two punch is good too. Snipes with triple tap/vorpal, and loaded question

Loaded question, any shotgun with one two punch, last seasons sniper with vorpal as a perk.

Depends on your playstyle...but I like using a rapid fire shotgun, high impact fusion, or a well rolled martyrs retribution grenade launcher with my monte carlo build. If you're on a melee focused build (which I'm guessing you are since your using monte carlo) then having your secondary weapon with auto loading holster is a nice combo since you'll essentially never have to reload your weapons (melee kills to refill monte carlo and swapping weapons to refill your secondary)

5 RepliesIf you haven't yet, get the Loaded Question, it's one of my go-to weapons because of its amazing add clear and major clearing power. If you want boss dps, go for a firing line sole survivor, for shotguns, pretty much anything with one-two punch is a good pick, so python, last man standing, and the curated emperors courtesy are all good picks. Loaded Question is going to be easiest to get right now because it's a strike pinnacle. python would be easiest, but with how unstable gambit is right now, I'd wait on getting it. As for the others, last man and sole survivor come from reckoning and emperors courtesy comes from a raid (crown of sorrows)
