It takes too long to get ready to play
It takes forever to get ready to play. You have to grab the bounties from the tower and the bunker and then switch your mods around to match your load out. Doing this on multiple characters inevitably leads to you running out of glimmer so then a trio to the tangled shore is required. There has to be a way to streamline this....maybe buying bounties from the dashboard on your ship?

The ships interface would be great fun so you can grab bounties and play. It’s takes 5 minutes just to load into the tower. Then you can grab stuff and bounties from the ship and start playing.

I’ve always wondered why our ghost doesn’t have a menu to grab bounties while playing. Ghost should be able communicate with the tower 🤷♂️

1 ReplyIt’s purposely done to increase playtime. The difference between you and I? I’ve known about this hamster wheel for years. I just happen to like it. I’ve always been a bit of a Masochist. Let’s me know I’m alive. Too bad I’m dead inside though.

1 ReplyThe worst is the dang forges. Why do you have to keep going back to Ada1? A bunch of extra worthless steps to eventually and finally getting the dang weapons done. Takes twice as long as it should having to keep traveling back and forth.

Too many bounties exacerbates the issue, which I think is part of the root cause.

2 RepliesHow bout Bounties can be obtained in orbit, but rewards must be collected from the NPC? This would make sense, as we can transmat a Gate Lords Eye. So, why can't we receive bounty requests while in orbit?

1 ReplyWe need more Bounty Space. Spend too much time going back to Tower picking up more when I complete bounties and it frees up space. You can’t really drop into any activity when game launches without having to first wait to get your turn to the tower.

This has been one of my biggest issues with this game from the beginning. To be fair improvements were made between d1 and d2, plus having apps and websites to swap gear around came later. But this is a big reason besides the grind that I just don't play anymore. At least for this season.

Why not just automagically have all the bounties so we can just pop open a menu to see them then do the ones we want to do .... I mean hell even Anthem has this ... If Anthem has it, Destiny should of had it too. Now that I think of it, I believe Destiny is the only looter shooter that doesn't do this ...

1 ReplyYou should it even have to pick them up. They should just auto complete and appear as completed quests when get 100 kills with arc abilities or 20 super multi kills. Like x-box achievements/medals.

13 RepliesI jumped on last night and went to the tower bought my bounties from vanguard, crucible, gunsmith. Thought about the most efficient way to complete all these bounties. Looked at my loadouts that just because I’m not fully powered up yet is a bit mismatchy in every sense. I don’t even like looking at my characters in a mismatched outfit and I just thought, “you know what, I really can’t be bothered to do any of this” so I logged out and put on some Netflix

I don’t mind those that much d1 was worse. What really bugs me is the 2hrs it takes to load the damn game up on ps4 and choose a freaking character to play.

This is what Bungie thinks is the best way to keep you “engaged”. They’ve been implementing the most tedious gameplay design imaginable for the past couple of years. Someone there must think this is fun. I still stand by my original assessment that this is a psychological experiment to test our tolerance for annoying game design.

12 RepliesI’m done. I just deleted the game off my PS4. Such a boring, tedious grind. Grinding the same old boring crap to reach a number so that more boring crap is playable. This season is already so tired and uninspired. A rehash of obelisks. A bare bones public event. Having to level up bunkers just to be able to do some bounties for guns. The grind on bunkers is even worse than obelisks were. The game has just gone in a direction I have no interest in. Boring, tedious grind of old, worn out content that hasn’t been updated to then be able to hit a number to play bare bones ‘new’ content that has zero substance. Being forced to run weapons I don’t want to run because you won’t make the barrier mods etc available on all weapons (I don’t want to run a bloody sidearm or smg ffs). D2 has been such a disappointment from the start. It’s had it’s good parts, but has been overshadowed by more disappointment than fun. When I think of the way Bungie has handled this game, ‘one step forward, two steps back’ is what comes to mind.

15 RepliesWe used to have to go to the tower to hand bounties in too. We also had no apps to move gear around and had to go to the vault each time. You D2ers have got it good.

Just let us access bounties from all vendors in a separate menu tab. Problem solved.

I dont do all the mod switching or that other garbage. It's to much a waste of time

Edited by Guardian: 3/18/2020 7:18:25 PMStop with the last word nerfs and start with the loading time buffs on console also make it so that you can access atleast a couple vendors or more off of orbit like Shaxx Zavala and the drifter you know
