6 years still cant edit character?
Why is it so hard to allow players a chance to change their hair, paint or playable race?
Even if it cost a ton of resources.
Or had a weekly cooldown.
Make a bad choice. You stuck seeing it in cutscenes and whenever you go to the tower.
I would even pay silver to use the character editor a second time

Your choices: Create a new character. Redo shadowkeep campaign, all adventures, Weapon quests, etc... Hours of time. Or Spend 10 minutes in a character editing feature.

1 ReplyI found it funny that the only thing we were allowed to carry over from D1 was our character’s appearance, the one thing many people wanted to change. Just another big F.Y. from Bungie. Those guys never miss a beat.

3 RepliesThe character creator in this game is also one of the worst i've ever seen. Hats off to Nioh 2 devs for making a "chest slider" to increase the bust size for those that choose to make a female character.

For me the biggest complaint is lack of character classes, race, skill trees after all these years.

Creating your characters was a meaningful decision. Bungie want to ensure that your original choices are never diluted. -
Yep. Apparently it takes an act of Congress (act of Vanguard?) to add such a trivially easy feature. I wish I understood their rational for refusing to implement this.

2 RepliesIf you get a full set of blue gear and then delete and remake your character you'll have everything and will have a new character. Not very hard.

The amount of time they have spent on shit no one likes..they could have used less than a quarter of that time to make a barber shop. [i]must hold X the entire time youre getting a haircut [/i]

1 ReplyDoes it matter? 90% of the time you're helmet is on and you are fighting shit. The other 10% you're at the Tower for like 5 mins and back out to the wild, and usually people keep their helmet on at the tower.

Because u dont need to thisbisnt an RPG game u only see ur face of u choose to in social spaces deal with it or create a new character

My first character, I messed up, because you could not really see most of the details until you were in the tower. Removing your helmet was not an option unless you were in the social space, which was automatic. We are talking year 1 Destiny OG... Not Destiny 2. Still, the same exact choices exist for Destiny 2 as Destiny 1, and since I imported my day 1 Destiny 1 character, I was simply stuck with the MESSED UP hair. How was I supposed to know what it really looked like? They keep adding all these cosmetics to the game for random stuff... Let us shed our armor and walk around the tower or the farm, sans the armor. It's not really that strange of an idea... and if they want to keep selling useless stuff via Eververse, why not for our characters themselves... not just our armor. Is it really that difficult of a concept to grasp... that not everyone wants to walk around in full armor at all times?
