Upgrade Gambit Prime armor to 2.0 and allow it to drop from Gambit Prime matches and weekly Grifter bounties

This armor needs to be upgraded to 2.0 (edit: to clarify I meant to say the seasonal mod slot and ornaments) and added to the Gambit Prime loot pool and with completion of weekly bounties. Successful Tier III Reckoning runs should reward entire armor sets in order to stay relevant.

  • Reckoning should be removed from the game and armor should drop from bounties or as random rewards from gambit prime match completions.

    • The whole Gambit Prime armor design should be changed -1 set of Illicit, Outlaw, and Notorious armor that isn't tied to any of the Gambit roles -Every armor piece comes with a "Prime" consumable slot where you slot in one of the four Gambit Prime synths to change the glow of the snakes on the armor and give it the 1-3 points towards whatever role you pick (I.E. slot a yellow Sentry synth into your Notorious Leg armor to change the snakes to yellow and give your character +3 Sentry perk points) -Reckoning Synthesizer upgrade quest stays largely the same, but you only have one Helmet upgrade quest a week instead of one for each role -Gambit Prime coins no longer get combined into motes to be used at the Reckoning. They are only used in the "Prime" armor slot and consumed for a 30 minute buff as they are now -The Synthesizer is now connected via cords and wires directly to the Reckoning Bank. It acts as an on-spot energy converter, freeing up an inventory space. Instead of wagering synths, players now offer one "Mote of Dark" to the Synthesizer. The Synthesizer breaks down the Mote of Dark and channels it into the bank to act as your offering. A Mote of Dark drops from every completed Gambit Prime match, 5 drop from two new Gambit Prime Weekly bounties, and the current Gambit Prime weekly bounty is converted to a Pinnacle drop that guarantees a Gambit Prime Weapon. They can also be purchased from Drifter for x amount of synths, glimmer, and shards -If you save up 50 Motes of Dark, they can be combined together at the bank behind Drifter to make an Ascendant Mote of Dark. When slotted into the Synthesizer in the Reckoning, this Ascendant Mote of Dark buffs your character with the "Primeval's Gaze" buff. You deal extra damage to all enemies and any Gambit Prime armor equipped becomes Taken and swirls with Taken effects. When you complete a run of Tier 3 Reckoning with an Ascendant Mote banked, the bank crackles with energy and nearly shatters when you accept your reward: a fully Masterworked piece of pinnacle armor, guaranteed to be 64 stat points or higher. You are then debuffed by "Primeval Exhaustion", which only prevents you from making another Ascendant Mote until the next week -Ascendant Gambit Prime armor offers benefits over regular Gambit Prime armor. Each piece gives you 3% extra damage to all PvE combatants, they are infused with each of the four synths (no need to spend synths like standard armor, just change the charge within the armor cosmetics), they have slight electrical patterns swirling through the glowing snakes, and each piece equipped increases the chance of a Gambit Prime weapon drop at the end of a match (A full set guarantees it)

      • Hello and welcome to the game. Gambit 2.0 does in fact exist and does drop from tier III runs. Tier III does drop with some decent stats too a long with helmets without doing the bounties. (May be due to I already had them completed). Wait till there’s the heavyweight modifier and grind out all the 2.0 armor you want. Thanks and enjoy.

      • It is 2.0 already. And a full set for 1 run? You're high, right? Hell no. Gotta earn the set like everyone else.

        • Dude reckoning is so easy now just do it I got all four sets in 3 days and they can come with 60 stat roll (I've only had 2 over that but most come at like 57) Bungie doesn't really care much about gambit now anyway

        • Maybe a weekly bounty that dropped a full random rolled set(or two weapons) once per week. 5 -7 steps and the final step would give you a choice of the armor set or the two random weapons. Or a knockout rng system need to be implemented asap.
