What happened to Gaurdian resilience since Season of the Dawn started? My fire team and I feel like we are dying way easier now since the new season started in PvE. Its like we can't take nearly as much damage as before. I don't think it's the lowered light level with the loss of seasonal artifact bonus, although it might be a part of the problem. Even lower level activities and just normal play it seems the same things we would survive before are killing us really often now. Its frustrating and perplexing. If this was intended I'd like to know the logic behind it and what was changed to make it occur. And if it wasn't intended I hope if some more people speak up maybe Bungie will look into it.
If it was just me who felt this way...then I wouldn't be saying anything. But my friends that I play with daily feel the same way. Has anyone else noticed this issue?

I've actually start wondering about this myself. At first I thought maybe it was just due to gear score cap going up, artifact level resetting, and not having the artifact mods I did last season, but now I'm starting to wonder if there's more to it than that. Like you said it's like the enemies are hitting harder or we're not able to take as many hits or something. It's just off. I also noticed that my weapons don't seem to be hitting the same numbers. For example my scout was hitting for like 1000+ at one point per round and now it's hitting for 800.

we are all weaker.. we lost our artifact that had bonuses to them and we are not back to regrinding that same level. Your work put into Season 8 is all gone.

Either I'm weaker or the enemies are using bigger bullets. I think I'm not utilizing my armor correctly, to be honest.

Nah it's the same as before. The difference now though is the game is buggy. Really really buggy. Damage numbers and simple basic game mechanics are not functioning correctly at all. Hit boxes and aim assist is all wonky too. So all these things are just making it seem harder. Gambit and reckoning are the most obvious culprits. They need to be removed from the game, remade from the ground up, fully tested and only when they are about 90% perfect added back into the game. Right now those 2 game modes are so buggy they might as well still be in an alpha state.

Bungie turned us down to like a 4 but cranked the AI up to a 10. Ads are tanker, never miss their snipes, spam grenades, spam abilities, and can instantly kill you. I like a challenge but let's get real.

It's called balance. They seem incapable of creating balance for this game anymore. They either go too far one way or the other.

Has anyone else noticed this issue?[/quote] One thing I have noticed is how the finisher effects damage dealt. Was on the Leviathan, using a bow. Head shots were leaving just enough to trigger the finisher state. I suspect that if finishers weren't in the game one shot to the head would still guarantee a kill. As it stands I see a lot of mobs take just enough damage to pop the finisher which is frustrating because it makes certain mobs feel more spongy

Menagerie the hive wizard encounter. And that is a 750 light encounter. Ouch u live like 1s before the wizards ligtning barrage if u are close. And that was with void singe and hive barrier mod. Good luck with air born debuff and arc singe jumping around. The 100 recovery is must have. It helps 100 times more than any other stat. Just the jump from 9 to 10 is 34 to 43 percent. And at least 2 slots for the minor,major resist. And a barrier mod if u own them, it is a almost always on 20 percent dmg reduction.

How can everyone say the game is too easy and they tweak a couple things and now everyone is saying the game is too hard? Lol are you guys for real? I have no issues still with the difficulty of the game. It literally feels just as easy this season as last. Maybe you all used Recluse a bit too much and forgot how to aim? The game is still stupidly easy. Not that I have an issue with that, but it is. Now PvP on the other hand... Dude something has happened with SBMM or everyone has just turned in to PvP gods.

I've noticed this doing gambit for python. Nearly everything puts me near death in 1 or two shots and I'm running with over 50 resilience but it does not seem to matter. My hunter feels like hes made of wet toilet paper.

Well your power did drop due to artifact loss. I lost about 16 power coming into the season. Not having too many issues dieing though.

Damage numbers are weird too. Was farming for Edgewise and Buzzard at the same time, and the Rat King was doing more damage than Fixed Odds at some points, with no buffs. Heavy seems really nerfed, and ammo drops sometimes drop way less than normal for machine guns.
