I was looking through my vault trying to find new guns to use and I blew some dust off my arbalest. I figured I would try it in a master nightmare hunt in combination with the Supreme nightmare breaker perk. I thought this would be great to use but I was disappointed. It took 8 + shots to drop the arc shields on nightmare harpee and 5 on the minor harpees. In comparison I used a sole survivor which one shot the shields off minors and barely took 2 shots on the yellow bar nightmare. Was this because of matchgame? Or does arbalest really suck that much. Its and exotic and its perk is specifically for taking down shields and with the Supreme breaker mod I really should have no problems with shields. Its also a linear fusion so the damage should be better I would think. I didnt do any number tests but it took to many shots to damage the adds. Maybe it was because they were 980 Idk. But how about it bungie? Can arbalest get a buff? Its quite unique and I would really like to use it in pve but it's subpar to everything else it seems. Or am I using it wrong?
