I just want to say this. I’m not gonna preach to you or convert you or anything, but if you knew that there was a God, and that everyone was going suffer unimaginable and eternal torment in Hell when they died, and you had the key to save them, wouldn’t you do something about it? I mean, I wouldn’t wish that on my worse enemy, much less the ones I care about.
Yes, there are some people who use religion (sometimes Christianity) as a way to con people out of their money. There are some hypocrites. That isn’t indicative of all Christians.
What I’m trying to say is, don’t get offended if people try to convert you. If they truly believe that there is a place called He’ll and you were heading straight for it when you died, then you should expect them to want to save you. You don’t have to accept it, or even believe it. Just decline and move on. Don’t be rude about it.
Because in doing so, you actually prove them right.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk. Please keep the comments civil.

9 RepliesNo. Why? Because I am not that large of an asshole. I will do what is right and folks can follow by example or not, that is why they are given free agency. If the only reason you are there is because you are scared of punishment, then you are not there for the right reasons and you can't buy your way into any Heaven. You do what is right because it is right, not because of a reward. If someone wants your message, then God will put them on the path to asking you about it.
