I was told that once cross save went live PC would be saved.
But according to warmind.io PC only accounts for a merger 17% of the player base.
I know a lot of players who went to PC that are coming back to console citing poor player population causing match making issues.

Very low numbers.

4 RepliesPc is only a thing in the streamer bubble. Real people are not abandoning their friends list, clans for some frames.

Somebody sounds jealous. *Laughs in superior platform*

6 RepliesI also went to pc. In EU servers it never matchmakess in Menagerie, a lot of time strikes your solo & if your lucky 1 person may load in. You definitely need to be in clan to play as matchmaking for anything takes forever

5 Replies1. Nobody said it would "save PC" the PC version never had an issue that required high population to fix 2. Link some posts talking about high matchmaking times? I live in the middle of nowhere and I've never waited more than 1min for a match whereas a game with a real low player count on PC like for Honor I've waited 20mim for a ranked duel, yet we can see the true number of people in for honors PC version, which averages at least 5k players, whereas we can't see specific numbers for D2 on PC, rather a percentage that is affected by the initial bloat of the game at launch.

12 RepliesEdited by Barvald: 9/19/2019 3:46:50 AMI haven't had any match-making issues on PC[NA]. I was doing Menagerie a couple hours ago, and according to Warmind, only 2% of PC players were in Menagerie. I still found a team almost instantly (<10 seconds). So with Quickplay having 5%, and Comp and having 3.5%, I can't imagine the wait times are too bad (I don't play PvP, so I can't say from experience). Edit: I can verify, through Charlemagne bot commands, that it isn't tracking platforms properly. I used the "last pve" command, and it said my last PC activity was back in June. I used "user default" to switch to my PS4 profile (which I have been using on PC since Cross Save was enabled), and ran "last pve" again. It showed my last activity as patrolling Titan today, which I did on PC, not PS4. If you use Charlemagne/Warmind on Discord, and are using Cross Save, you should check too. https://i.imgur.com/4iDk1hP.png Edit 2: If anyone followed my suggestion, it seems that using the "user default" command fixes the issue. Charlemagne is now showing the Cross Save symbol and correct activity when I run "last pve" regardless of which profile I have set as default. https://i.imgur.com/O5rgVY4.png

13 RepliesWhen it goes free to play a lot more people will be playing it. Wait a month.

7 RepliesIt counts you as playing as whatever your account started on I believe. I play PC but with the account I started with on Xbox and every time I’m on PC the Warmind app says I am playing on xbox.

11 RepliesWhen it goes f2p on steam you'll see a spike.

6 RepliesWell I don’t know who would think that PC would be saved. Only the players who have both console and PC would switch: no one bought a PC specifically for crossplay. That’s why the numbers aren’t improving

I'm waiting for Oct 1st to jump into PC, I don't feel like buying on Battle.net and transferring over, so I'm just going to wait for it to be on Steam.

1 ReplyAnecdotal but I have noticed quicker Comp and QP matchmaking times and a significant amount of opponents coming from Cross Save. It was most noticeable in Comp where Onwas playing 2800+ Comp matches. I think it has helped. How much I can’t tell.
