Hi! Just want to tell my short story of guy who is really loving Destiny 2. It’s describe how think people which used to be good prepared for things that gives them joy. It also describe Bungie a bit. I’m a 36, got wife and daughter and nice job – all of this consume around 95% of my life time. I have ~10 hours in a week when I can play Destiny 2. So when Shadowkeep was announced on 15.09.19 – I understood that I need to act and this is my chance to join from the start and boost up at least my hunter well. So… I bought trip for my wife + daughter + mother of wife to the Spain sea cost, hope they will spent time nicely (tickets, hotel, visa costs + some money for trip + ticked for mother of wife cuz she lives in another city, etc etc etc). I took vacation for 1 week. Changed my 2 780Ti in SLi to 1080Ti (not specially for D2 but I’d like to do that much early, thought it’s good time to finally do it). Paid for internet in advance. Thought I’m perfectly ready for best game in the world… What happened next? Bungie changed release date on 1.10.19!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!?! HOW I CAN MANAGE ALL OF THIS NOW?????? MY PLANS…. MY HOPES… MY DREAM… MY PREPARATIONS… MONEY… I COULD GO TO SEA WITH MY FAMILY… MY EMPTY VACATION… WTH?!?!?!?!!? WTH?!?!?!?!?!!?!?! 1.10 it’s my birthday + I got business trip for a week + after business trip I need to fully give myself to family needs. So I can play in new expansion not early than 7-8 of October and just for a couple of hours. So I losing whole fist week. Plus I need to transfer my account to Steam. Plus – I need to download whole 148 Gb of new Destiny in Steam (It’ will took at least 12 hours!!!! So my first play day also canceled or may be even TWO DAYS cuz 148 Gb!!!) or I can just show game folder in Steam and Steam will recognize it (can’t find any of this info anywhere – official forums, steam forums, reddit…..). What to do... What to do... oh no... SAVATHUN PLEASE HELP ME! I don’t know guys. Mb Bungie changed release date because of Borderlands 3 release. But buying Borderlands 3 – it’s the only thing I can do to try get at least something on my vacation without family. I know that season length give opportunity to not harry and get and see all you want – but all you also know that this is a big fun and joy to start from first minutes of release (with friend in Discord which also prepared and hyped), it's important to do maximum in first week to be prepared for raid start. I won’t say that Bungie bad company or anything like this, D2 is perfection, I will play Shadowkeep lately (but who knows, mb Borderlands 3 will be even better). [b]BUT THIS IS A BACKSTAB!
