[spoiler]Here's the third part to the series, I think I have two more parts after this before I start writing about the origins of team two. I hope you guys enjoy this one.[/spoiler] As the giant stared down the duo with its cold, soulless eyes, it slowly raised its giant axe, over its right shoulder, readying itself to strike. Just before it could land a blow, Codi grabbed Monk and teleported three feet away from where the axe landed. “Since when could you teleport?!” asked Monk, surprised by the sudden revelation of this newfound ability. “For a while now, I learned it from a couple of wizards from the temples of Xao Lin. Though I don’t think that this is the perfect place to discuss our life stories to each other.” Jokes aside, Codi was correct. The giant was already throwing its right foot to stomp on the two like ants, to which Codi grabbed Monk and teleported 3 feet yet again. Though, Monk’s brief interrogation wasn’t over quite yet, “And why didn’t you bother to use this before? Like say...during the storm?!” “Cause I can only teleport short distances, and do you really think that this is the type of thing you should be worrying about right now?” Codi said, as he gestured towards the giant zombie, who was hurling its axe to attack the scoundrels. Yet again, Codi teleported them a short distance away from the giants attack. Infuriated that the giant kept interrupting his query, Monk used his robotic augmentations to jump on the axes giant belly before the blade rose into the air. He then ran up the axes handle, and leaped onto the giants right arm. The giant attempted to swat at Monk using its left hand, but it was far too slow to catch him. As Monk ran up the giants arm, his left robotic hand shifted open, allowing him to ignite it with a radioactive green flame. Monk then bounded off the giants shoulder and up to its face, and with his left hand, he punched its right cheek so hard that it blasted the right-hand side of the giants wretched skin off, only to reveal the right side of its severely fractured skull. The blast was so powerful that it caused the giant to stagger backwards and crash into the ice wall. Monk then used his mechanical legs to crash land a metre from where Codi stood, causing some minor damage to his legs servos. “That...that was amazing! You just freaking one punched that guy!! They should call you One Hit Guy, or something” Said Codi, astonished by Monks feat of strength. “Wait, why the heck didn’t you do that in the first place, you stupid hypocrite!” “I had to get a good advantage to attack the giant, which would’ve been simpler if you didn’t keep teleporting me all over the place!” “Kay, we clearly both have talents that we didn’t bother telling each other, but why don’t we use those abilities and kill this stupid giant together.” “First sensible thing you’ve said all day.” As the giant got itself back onto its feet, Monk and Codi dashed towards the giant. As they charged into battle, Monk ignited his fists with a radioactive flame, and Codi unsheathed his solar katana and lit it on fire. The giant tried to stomp on the two with its left foot, but failed as Codi teleported him and Monk away from its assault. They ran back towards the giants foot, while Monk jumped into the air to shatter the giants right knee, Codi went in to slice the giants entire left foot off from the ankle. Both were successful, as they struck and sent the giant falling to the ground, face forward. As it fell with a thundering crash, Monk went in to crush the giants body on the left hand side, while Codi sliced into its decayed skin and bones on the right hand side.The giant attempted to rise up, but Monk vaulted into the air and punched its backside, causing it to fall back to the floor, and causing a fog of snow to emerge from underneath the giant and surround the area around them. With each cut and with each punch sent rusted metal, contaminated blood, decayed organs and bone shards flying into the air. Eventually, the giant became reduced to small rotten fragments, ending its forsaken existence. As they rose to their feet, covered in green blood, rotten guts and tiny bone shards, Codi laughed in victory. “See! Nothing to it when we work together.” “Please don’t start with that friendship Fontin (an aquatic bison) crap.” “What!? Ew! Heh heh, it’s not like I’m gonna get all mushy right now...oh wait, I technically am,” said Codi, followed by a roar of laughter. Despite their victory, a yellow mystical sphere appeared five feet away from the giants scattered carcass. “What the heck is that,” asked Codi. However, before his question could be answered, Monk and Codi then noticed a bright glow coming from the foggy distance. Soon, the glow revealed itself to be two figures donned in black cloaks, their green eyes illuminated from under their hoods. However, as the fog settled even further, it was revealed that the two figures were leading a giant horde of undead soldiers. The soldiers’ eyes were being illuminated by a faint green aura, and they were all clad in the same rusted armor and decaying skin as the previous undead giant. As Codi and Monk looked from the yellow sphere to the soulless horde and their leaders, Monk cried in rage, “WHAT THE GRONK IS HAPPENING ON THIS SCREWED UP PLANET!!??”
