Bungie must hate all gamers who dont have 40 hours a week to play destiny. I get its supposed to be a grind to earn things but GOD DAMN! And isnt it supoosed to be fun along the way?...
-
I am ok with the grind, but not when it is time limited. I have work to do in the day and couldnt play destiny as often as I like to. I felt punished for not being able to upgrade my sets. I see no purpose in doing a time limited grind. If the event is time limited, then have an event which is not grindy.. is it that difficult to reward players and not make them hate the game?

Seems the lifeline for Destiny is grind at this point. Enjoyment is secondary and there are little to no rewards for players who cannot or do not want to invest enormous amounts of hours. Definitely feels like a job at this point, so don't have much incentive to play. (Already have a job)

10 RepliesYes, the grind is decent... if you decide to do it. You really don't need to. I've filled my drained armour for my hunter and that'll pretty much do it for me - I just don't have the time this month to seriously try for the blue. And then I read what you need for the Majestic Set: Complete a Prestige Nightfall with a score of 200,000 or better. Complete playlist strikes with clanmates. Complete the dungeon "Shattered Throne" in the Dreaming City with a fireteam of two players or fewer. Reset your Season 7 Valor ranking in the Crucible. Defeat challenging combatants throughout the system. Realised that was never, ever going to happen (I play mostly solo and am not good enough at Crucible to even think of a ranking reset)... and I'm okay with stepping away. It'd be great to have an event that rewarded all players in a reasonable way but this really isn't one.

2 RepliesAre you saying that requirement to complete 10 heroic events while getting sabotaged by other players is not fun!?
-
As much as I didn’t like it.. and won’t do it in the mains it was pretty easy and quick if you planned it out.

1 ReplyTwo main issues I have... 1. Masterworking everything all at once. Some of us mere mortals can't manage a 200,000 Nightfall, so I apparently can't power up the armor any further. 2. Those 100 miniboss kills. 30 would have been a better idea. 3. Ok, a third... let players choose a bit more. Crucible OR Gambit. Patrol OR Event. I get the need for a bit of grinding, and I happen to enjoy most of D2's game modes, but some people truly hate gambit/Crucible/whatever.

3 RepliesFun? We at Bungle don't understand this concept of fun. Grinding. Now that's where it's at in the land of the Bungle. Also hoop jumping and timing. Timed hoop jumping is our motto. Ditto the armor of ugliness and the gun of similarity. These are things to celebrate, for a nominal fee and the surrender of one's self respect.

3 RepliesEdited by Northern: 8/6/2019 5:04:01 PMBungo might have shit the bed with solstice. YouTuber Azteccross held a poll recently and asked players if they felt Destiny was to grindy. 50,000 players voted. 43% Yes 57% No If as expected, the grind increases ince Shadowkeep drops, we could see players moving onto other games.

2 RepliesLmao you guys are adorable thinking solstice is a grind, takes like 10 hours of gameplay tops to do one set, it's a joke of a grind that you have almost a month to do. Sorry you entitled scrubs cant get gear handed to you the day it releases.
-
Imagine having until September 17th to complete your solstice sets and still complaining???
-
3 RepliesStep 1: Grind mindlessly for the Solstice armor set. Step 2: Complain about how much you hate playing strikes, Gambit, crucible, etc. Step 3: Wonder to yourself why you play a game you hate. Play and complain anyway. Step 4: Finally finish the armor set and wish you had the time back. Step 5: Vault armor set in pursuit of new armor set introduced in October. Step 6: Complain some more about the grind for the new stuff. Step 7: Profit?!?! You guys are literally insane. Here is my advice. Log on to Destiny 2. Play the game modes you ENJOY. Make progress towards the armor or NOT. It hardly matters. Sometimes I do not even stop at the tower for daily bounties *gasp*. Sometimes I pick up bounties and just do not finish them *shudder*. I just started my Solstice set and will probably only finish it on ONE of my toons THE HORROR. You are all crazy. After years of the same mechanics, nonsense economies, and turning every mob into a boss......with the stomp mechanic (srsly, the Servitors, no) you still play the game. At this point, you either like the game or you are INSANE. Stop posting here. Play something else. Your attitude is unhealthy.
-
1 Replyif its too much for you...you were never meant to have it.
-
6 RepliesAnd the fact that u need to reset valor in crucible is stupid. Think lots of players who dont have time to grind in pvp or doesnt play pvp have stoped play this BS game long time ago and I will soon join them
-
Got Majestic tonight. Solo. Hard grind, but doable. If ya play smart over the next 3 weeks it's definitely not out of reach.
-
You had almost a month to do it. Bungie didn't force you to do it in 1 day.
-
You misspelled, correctly so:Grind SUCKS!!!
-
I see no reason to even try for the gear during solstice
-
27 RepliesI sometimes wonder why people saying "stop complaining" thinking that will change anything. Maybe Bungie should learn how to make quality content when it comes to the events, then maybe the "complaining" would lighten up. Not a hard concept...
-
It takes a whole month to do, not 2 hours
-
3 RepliesLast year was way better. I could solo... everything. We had remixed mission.
-
-
The grind was lame. I finished on 1 character. Not doing the others.
-
3 RepliesTried to grind 10 strikes today to upgrade the green gauntlets for my warlock. Got bored after 3 strikes and turned the game off
-
The grind itself is not bad at all, for me it was the crucible/gambit matches that took forever. But hey its bungo I'm not suprised.

It's a huge waste of precious time .
