Update: no need to Extend Solstice of heroes
Like title, I love destiny but the Grind for the solstice is waaaaay too much, extend it until 17th or September or reduce the requirements.

UPDATE: well, first step took me 6 days and I was scared to not finish it in time with a family/full job 45hours per week 😅😅 then I've read that the second step was even worst... bullshit, blue armor is much easier in my opinion, so I did edit the post for the sake to be coherent.

1 ReplyI finished my Titan and my hunter. I got the blue gear for my warlock and then my 1yo baby got sick and the past 12 days I have been in and out of emergency rooms. I have pre ordered the new shadowkeep and I have also made two new characters, I even sparked both to level 30 just so I can have all 3 gears and Bungie has delayed shadowkeep for two weeks. Now I ask Bungie, how is it fair that Bungie can play with their time but not pass on the time to the players? My wife and I got the the same progress and now we will not make it because Bungie doesn’t want to extend the solstice for two more weeks

3 RepliesI work 45 hours a week and still had my first first set by last Friday. It's really not difficult. All you do is combine things. Like guardian kills with void whilst playing gambit.

2 RepliesI’m already done with my main character before week one and I work 60 hours a week. I agree some objectives are really slow to complete but I haven’t found it terrible so far. On to the next character.

I have already done this shit. I still have the last solstice armor. I don't need or shouldn't have to go through this shit again. I should be able to get the new armor with a trade in deal or just buy the new glow and be done with it.

You do understand that you have almost a month to get it done right. 22day x 24hrs = 528hrs -4hrs= 524hrs as I post this. That's quite a bit of time. Lol

Edited by Tamacountry: 8/5/2019 6:58:19 AMThere’s not a lot to do overall, It takes like 10 hours to complete both green and blue of a set. Over a week it’s like an hour or two a day. Most time consuming parts are the mini bosses/Gambit matches and Patrols but they all take two hours each

Got one character done this weekend, the grind is painfully long and took my spare time but it's very doable even for all 3 classes for a month.

2 RepliesThey need to extend it a further 2 weeks at least to ensure a second chance at the shattered throne step for the masterwork armour. With how long it is at the moment, any one who misses out on that for whatever reason won’t have another chance at getting it. Also with how Grindy in general all the armour is it definitely needs to be extended. A lot of people work and have other commitments that prevent them from playing all the time.
