Too inconsistent. I'm an average player and I either steamroll or get steamrolled. One match I can go undefeated with 30 kills and the very next I can get 3 assists with 8 deaths neither of which reflect my actual skill level. It's a hot mess of ghost bullets, dying after taking cover and being killed by a kinetic weapon before you have time to even react. Unbalanced matchmaking and poor connections make P2P PvP a below average experience. We could keep banging our heads against a wall in asking for dedicated servers but after this long we need to just accept it will never happen. We've flogged that dead horse enough. The sad truth is, Bungie is a business and the bottom line is profits trump anything else. Research groups show them that pleasing the PvP community with dedicated servers probably won't actually have a significantly positive impact on profit and therefore they won't invest. They will keep focusing on content that sells. That's why they are hyping Shadowkeep right now, everywhere. YouTube ads, Facebook ads, Google ads and so on. They never hype PvP and that's an indication they have no intention of investing in it. That's just how it is.

Most of the time I get instakilled by people with them hitting all of their headshots even though I'm moving, I don't know if everyone just became so good at the game or it's just that I appear standing still to them. Do others feel the same ? You can check my latest games sometimes I'm decent sometimes I'm a complete detriment to my team.

They just need to remake the pvp to be more like halo with vehicles and 20v20 maps

So how do you get an 8 hour comp match with 300 kills? That sounds like a rather dedicated player. Also, your comp score is 2200+. Now, many of your points are valid but you play A LOT so something is keeping you coming back.

Just relaxing from a crazy day at work. Decided to mess around in D2, not really do much, wait until tomorrow to start the grind.... Stikes were cool. Did the Nessus planet stuff. Made the mistake of going into comp... Damn did that instantly ruin my mood. Comp is the cesspool of Destiny 2. There is an awful feeling it creates. It doesn't need to be fixed, it needs to go away. Cut out like a diseased part of the body. Just talking about comp makes me feel physically uncomfortable

But I simply don’t play it very often because it’s broken and doesn’t function properly. I play a couple games, and am so enraged at the end, I’m forced to turn it off to keep my sanity. Hell, there are even instructional video from streamers that tell people, for comp help, “Turn it off when you get too frustrated!!!” I don’t think there is any way to save it, but I’d love for BUNGIE to prove me wrong. Sadly this will be the first since D1 day 1 that I will be waiting for reviews before I pick up Shadowkeep.
